Opinion - The U.S. government helps U.S. companies rob Chinese companies

Robbery is a 400-year Anglo-Saxon tradition. They used to rob in Europe, then they robbed Indians in North America, and now they rob Chinese companies. I am not surprised at all.

This is a good thing.
This broke all moral high grounds in the United States, including the rule of law, human rights, freedom, and fairness, and let the world know the true face of the United States.
I'm surprised you got so many likes for crying like an Indian. Your government should be strategizing to stop this robbery from happening to other Chinese companies.

I think ultimately it just poisons the business environment in US for Chinese firms. Instead of taking their cash to US, they'll know to keep their investments in China or countries involved with the Belt and Road project. I don't think China should replicate what US is doing. It's a sign of desperation and quite a signature move of Trump actually.

Trump used to stiff and threaten contractors when he was in real estate development, trying to weasel out of his bills with the threat of litigation. If you back off, he doesn't pay you. If not, he tries to bog you down with lawyers until you agree to a smaller settlement. It worked a few times, but over the long run nobody was willing to deal with him in the construction business in NYC, and he was forced to move into reality TV and other failed businesses (Trump University, Trump Steak, Trump Mortgage, Trump Airlines, Trump Casinos).

China should keep opening up and increasing its market accessibility. It should be a competitive environment for companies worldwide. Domestic firms need to get competitive, and zombie enterprises need to be buried. That's how you get ahead.

And why are you crying?
The founder of Tik Tok is a spiritual American. He touts the United States in China every day. Now that the American father’s whip hits him, you ask me why I cry?:omghaha::omghaha:
I didn't cry, I laughed loudly:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

I didn't know Zhang Yimin was that bad. He is a 土鳖派 after all. If he tries to embarrass China, his company will have to be nationalized.

Now he is busy deleting the Weibo he wrote before.
He thought that by doing this, others would not be able to see how he touted the United States and satirized the Communist Party.:omghaha::omghaha:

He didn’t know there was something called a screenshot:omghaha::omghaha:

ByteDance has to cater to its investors like Sequoia. Having a few white males, unfortunately, is expected.

More than Chinese total. Sad. I know these types. They think that because they program in English they are spiritual white men from Silicon Valley stuck in a yellow man's body. They used to infest Weibo before their lord and master abandoned them.

Nothing you can do to stop a robbery when they force you at gunpoint ... besides, I'm sure China would react the exact same way as the United States is if the roles were reversed (i.e. China in decline, US on the rise). It is inherent human nature to try their best to not be surpassed by another. What the US is currently doing (including this Tik Tok pressure) is simply done to try to maintain the American edge. The US wants what's best for the country as does China.

China is in a similar situation vis-a-vis India. Until recently, China has been trying to find a peaceful solution where the two powers are in balance. Not exactly a perfect balance because China considers itself a more developed power but it was willing to allow India a certain sphere of influence. Meanwhile, China's policy vis-a-vis USA was always that China is willing to take a more modest position and respect USA as the greater power. All China asked for was room to develop itself economically. USA was having none of that. It wants slavery of yellow people, period.

Both USA and India decided to take a hostile approach instead of accepting China's overtures. So now China is retaliating with a hostile approach. India will be contained aggressively with help from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Maldives. USA's Asia-Pacific empire will be undermined and finally uprooted and the dollar hegemony will end, leaving USA something like a Brazil except with a clique of wealthy plutocrats.

That is a wrong move by China. Given India with the upper hand they will prevent China from developing.
China's way of thinking is disliked by most leaders.

Man you didn't know? Here is the board of ByteDance:

https://theorg.com/org/bytedance/team

other than Zhang Yimin, there are 3 foreign white males and 1 Chinese banana.

Find an American company who founder is white with majority Asian board. Can't be found. After a century of dealing with Anglo, with examples of how they operate around the world, Asians are still fooled by Anglo-American backstabbing culture. They stole 3 continent, stoled Hawaii in 1959, robbed Iraqis, Libyan, and Venezuelan gold, gave medals to people who fired on Iran civilian airplane, no jail time for soldier who massacre a whole village in My Lai, bombed countries around the world, killed millions of innocent people still OK to make jokes about it at Washington press club

True face of American on both side of the isle.
