Okay, this Nizamuddin mazma took place in mid March and account for nearly 30% cases of corona virus related case all over India starting from Kashmir to Kerala and by today accounts for 10 deaths out of 32 deaths in India.

Reading comments here and other online sites, I come to firm conclusion indians are soo divided on linguistic, ethnic, regional, caste, communal lines. There is a need to blame some other group, instead of working together and improving society. Every community works for themselves, heard many times indians in America will only hire people from their own home region. No meritocracy in india. Indians should be ashamed, but certain groups benefit from withholding resources to other groups. So will not change.

Within 12 hours of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ardent appeal to the nation to stay indoors, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath was seen attending an early morning ritual in Ayodhya on Wednesday. Modi on Tuesday night had announced a nationwide lockdown for 21 days and cautioned: “If we are not able to manage the upcoming 21 days [of lockdown] we will be pushed back by 21 years.”

The ritual that the chief minister participated in was to shift the idol of the deity Ram from a tin shed, inside the space considered to be the birthplace, to a temporary structure made of fibre. The idol will remain there till a temple is built at the site, reported NDTV.

“The first phase of construction of the grand Ram temple was completed today...,” Adityanath tweeted at 6.45 am. “The idol has been moved to a temporary structure near Manas Bhawan. For the construction of a grand temple, a cheque of Rs 11 lakh was presented.”

Third case regarding violation of gathering of people to perform religious activity has been registered on Saturday after 10-15 people were booked for performing Puja outside a temple in Peer Gate area; earlier two cases were registered for gathering to offer Namaz in the state capital.

Even after every hard effort to contain transmission of Coronavirus people are not ready to mend their ways and taking the biggest lockdown of the world least sensitivity. Kotwali police have booked around 10-15 people for gathering at one place to perform Pooja amid Lockdown imposed in the state capital.The police have taken action against the people after a video of performing Pooja went viral. Action has been taken after video of their act went viral on social media.

The SHO of Kotwali police station, Praful Shrivastava said that in the morning on Saturday around 9:30 few people gathered at Peer Gate area outside Bhawani Mandir (Curfew wali Mata) mandir and performed puja together and at the time of the Pooja police personnel deployed were present but failed to spot them.

Later recorded video was shared on social media and taking cognizance of video senior officers instructed to lodge a police complaint against those people as in the time of Coronavirus spreading all the religious places including temples, mosques and church are closed and gathering not allowed.

Police are trying to identify people and police personnel present at the time of the Pooja performed. Earlier a priest and people at the Talaiya offering prayers and a gathering of 25-30 people in Teelajamalpura were booked by police.

NEW DELHI: In a sudden outbreak and detection of multiple coronavirus cases, the Delhi-based headquarters of Tablighi Jamaat in Nizamuddin West has turned into a hotspot, alarming health authorities. It had hosted a congregation this month which was attended by followers from abroad and India. Nine Indians who attended – six in Telengana and one each in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and J&K – have died of the disease.
At least one foreign national, a Filipino, has died and 19 foreigners, followers of this Islamic missionary movement, have tested positive for Covid-19 across the country so far.

Of 25 new cases of Covid-19 that Delhi reported on Monday, 18 were from this seminary in Nizamuddin, said a senior official from the state health department. This takes the city’s tally of cases to 97.
About 250 foreign nationals had arrived in the capital in the first week of March to attend a religious congregation organised by the Jamaat after which many of them travelled to various states. Many Indian followers too had joined them.
Sources said more than 1,500 members of the group are still inside the mosque of which nearly 300 were found to have fever, cough and breathing difficulty. Many of them have been rushed to various public hospitals in Delhi for isolation even as the area has been put under a complete lockdown with police, health and municipal authorities trying to detect and limit the spread.
The headquarters of the Jamaat, known as Bangle Waali Masjid, has been sealed and all the remaining members are being screened for Covid-19 symptoms.
The Tablighi Jamaat tries to replicate the way Muslims lived in the time of Prophet Muhammad. It was started in 1926 in Mewat province by Islamic scholar Maulana Muhammad Ilyas. Followers are asked to visit areas in groups and enlighten the locals about their role and responsibilities as a Muslim.
The foreign members or followers of the Jamaat had come from countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia besides others and were staying in mosques in other states after having checked out of the Nizamuddin headquarters which had provided them local guides.
Government sources said many of them who are yet to be screened for Covid-19 could be potential carriers of the novel coronavirus as they have come in contact with the infected ones. “All foreign workers of Tablighi Jamaat have been located and all DGPs have been alerted for maintaining strict surveillance,” said an official.
“There was a group of 10 from Mumbai which travelled to Delhi for the convention. One of them, a preacher from Philippines, died at Kasturba Hospital,” sources said. One of the Indian followers, a 65-year-old man from Jammu and Kashmir, died last week.
Sources said 85 preachers of the Jamaat had been admitted in Lok Nayak Hospital yesterday while six others who were confirmed positive on Sunday have been shifted to AIIMS, Jhajjar. On Monday, 200 more people were admitted to Lok Nayak. “They have fever and cough and some have breathing problems. A 64-year-old man died at Lok Nayak on Sunday. His results are yet to be received. The possibility of the swab samples of others being confirmed as positive is high,” said a senior doctor at the hospital.
Some have also been admitted to Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) and Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty hospitals.
“The extent of spread of the disease is this group is difficult to assess at present. We can only hope for the best,” said an official. The government has also put more than 500 other people living in the area under surveillance and health teams have been stationed there to monitor movement of people in Nizamuddin West, which is now being regarded as a high-risk zone for Covid-19.
Another hotspot of the disease, which is linked to the Jamaat followers, is Tamil Nadu. The state reported 38 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Monday, many of which are linked to the group. The state is now trying to trace 980 Tamil Muslims who took part in the congregation in New Delhi and returned home. While 28 are believed to be from Coimbatore, chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami confirmed that 10 were members of the delegation from Erode
Many had also travelled to UP and Telengana. Two more persons tested positive in Telengana on Monday. They are family members of a person who had earlier tested positive. This man had hosted a group of Indonesian preachers who visited Karimnagar on March 14 and one among them was the first to test positive at Gandhi hospital in Secunderabad.

10 Cases Of Covid-19 In Andaman And Nicobar Island, All Attendees Of Tablighi Jamaat Congregation In Nizamuddin

With one new case of COVID-19 in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands today (Mar 30), the total number of people infected with novel coronavirus in the Union Territory to 10.

A man in his late 20s who tested positive for Covid-19 today was a part of a group of people that had gone to Delhi to attend Tablighi Jamaat congregation and returned to Port Blair via Kolkata on March 24.

Nine others patients who are undergoing treatment at the GB Pant Hospital in Port Blair were also part of the group that attended the religious programme and returned to Port Blair. The group was transported to the hospital directly from the airport after they showed coronavirus-like symptoms and did not get in contact with locals,

The New Indian Express quoted the nodal officer for COVID-19 in Andaman and Nicobar Islands Avijit Roy has saying that a group of over 10 people went to Visakhapatnam in February on a religious tour. From there, they took a train to Nizamuddin in Delhi on March 16 and reached the national capital on March 18.

Local MP and Congress leader Kuldeep Rai Sharma said he has also gone on home-quarantine as he returned from Delhi on the same day as these patients..

Several people are affected in Tamil Nadu wherein these idiots travelled on train to the southern state. These stupids have no regards to personal hygiene or other etiquettes.
