The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stout launches a Tomahawk missile in support of Operation Odyssey Dawn. This was one of approximately 110 cruise missiles fired from U.S. and British ships and submarines that targeted about 20 radar and anti-aircraft sites along Libya's Mediterranean coast. Joint Task Force Odyssey Dawn is the U.S. Africa Command task force established to provide operational and tactical command and control of U.S. military forces supporting the international response to the unrest in Libya and enforcement of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973. Europe has to be careful they have sizeable Arab Muslim population living in European cities. If this military operation and act of war gets bloodier and is seen as an attack not simply on Gaddafi and his regime and base but on Libyans and their oil assets it could upset the Arab diaspora in Europe. Next thing you know they'll be fighting this war in the streets of European cities...

It can happen...Depending on how bloody and lengthy this war gets...

This is exactly same thing since Afghanistan and Iraq, first button launched is Tomahawk Cruise Missiles. 110 Tomahawk Cruise Missile responded similar way to Libya.

Any videos, Russia satellites monitor closely on Libya Map vs coalition forces.

.
All Russian made defence system failed as usual. No chance of survival against US tech.

Libya shouldn't have abandoned nuclear program

The thing is western media keeps repeating the line "Gaddafi killing his own people" okay but he is fighting a western backed insurgency and rebels who hold Mizrata and Benghazi! So these rebels are defying the laws and sovereignty of the Government hence in order to enforce the law he attacks them. Those rebels aren't protesting peacefully The world has seen photos and videos of of them carrying RPGs, assault rifles, and other firearms.

I think it's the air strikes that tipped the scale...Nonetheless it's a civil war, Arab league and Arab armies should only intervene not western militaries.

PS I don't intend to support Gaddafi but he is fighting rebels and an insurgency so those are legitimate targets.

Yes, we have seen it in Iraq war, afganistan war and that infamous prison, as to how people react. Arab diaspora in europe are european too and have european values.
This is just a mini war, there is no ground troop involved. I doubt they will send ground troop as Iraq war was unpopular.
