BS my PS4 runs every day. We have 2 TVs. 4 Fridges, Furnace/HVAC unit running 24 hours. Our bill at most is $184. With ALL this extravagant usage. Taxes and maintenance fees if any are minute.

It seems they extract all the money for the kunda walas from normal people.

In a "developed" country.
They pay at least Rs. 4800 every month even if they use ZERO units.


ZERO = 0 = خلاس = نشتہ = dot usage.


I know infrastructure is poorly maintained in Pak.
But whichever shape it is in, it still needs money to maintain.

It's a matter of principle that a service is available to a consumer, there has to be a base level charges. Consumption based charges come on top of base maintenance charges.

In developed countries they dont charge 4800 every month, probably you are mistaken. Their billing is individual or per household normally where they are paying a fixed amount i.e 30 - 40 Dollars per head per month .At the end of the year when they check the readings the amount is adjusted accordingly and money is returned. It also depends on whats sort of contract one have . There is no hidden charges like the ones we have , same goes for Gas , telephone as well.

i found this bill on social media its god damn open robbery on gov the guys used 8 units only in month and bill is 1480 riyals after all the looting .

its mean KE sale electricity 185 rupees per unit ????????? what the hell are these taxes and charges dozens time more then actual bill ?

units used - 8 PKR
electricity cost - 175 PKR
KE charges total - 964 PKR
GOV charges - 516 PKR

how on earth its justice . in which other country govs and private sectors do such practise ??????????

I see people who run 5 ac in there houses in posh area and pay lineman 3 or 4 thousand rupee per visit and all is well. But Kunda system steal almost 20 to 30 percent of Karachi bijli, where not only public , industries also included.
Watch sar e aam 3rd july ... imagine how people steal bijli in Punjab and rest.
