open robbery of KE karachi

i found this bill on social media its god damn open robbery on gov the guys used 8 units only in month and bill is 1480 riyals after all the looting .

its mean KE sale electricity 185 rupees per unit ????????? what the hell are these taxes and charges dozens time more then actual bill ?

units used - 8 PKR
electricity cost - 175 PKR
KE charges total - 964 PKR
GOV charges - 516 PKR

how on earth its justice . in which other country govs and private sectors do such practise ??????????

Even if u consume ZERO units. Still u have to pay some base level maintenance charges.

Bcoz govt provided u with facility which needs money to maintain whether u r putting it to use or not.

Govt still needs to maintain infrastructure on an ongoing basis.

please do not politicize it it has nothing to do with politics but it has to do with check and balance price controlling and licking investors issue of every gov .

sir i agreee ok they take 4800 and give sevices do you see 5% of such services in paksitan while they are charging the money for it ? just sit in any city and call electricity company for help and you will notice . do not compare us with devalouped countries its totally unfair . yahan to bolty hai wire bhi apni khareedo meter ki .

The charges are normal , the confusion exist because the company charges fuel consumption charge from customers. Normally that is built into the "Rate" for electricity under actual bill

The company should simply , upgrade their Monthly rate so customers have no confusion
Charging fuel cost separately confuses people

• The fuel charge , sounds dodgy

• Karachi Electric is a Corporation in Sindh , and falls under Sindh Commerce and laws of Sindh Parliament

KE was sold in Mushraf time and it looks like contacts was designed in a way to loot "people of Pakistani living in Karachi" but awaaz na uthana Anti nacional hojao gey!
