the rivalry and malice between these two are destroying OPEC and it's smaller producing members.

where do you see OPEC and the state of oil in the next two years.

.
why should we have OPEC ? OPEC is an infant of the arab unity , now that syria the heart of the arab world is destroyed , so is OPEC

They had increased oil output to decrease prices in an effort to hurt Iran but in the process they've done much more damage to their own economy  This is the type of people and IQ we're dealing with.

Now they're begging Iran to not increase its oil output further to avoid decreasing the prices.
They're in a hard dilema, if they continue at this rate, they'll burn through their foreign reserves and become bankrupt, but if they decrease their output, prices will go up and Iran and Russia will become much richer. Either way, Iran wins given Iran only relies for about 20% of its revenues from oil.

These soodis need to just let their western masters do their thinking for them ,clearly they're not capable of doing that on their own. One has to truly wonder just how many months they'll last were it not for their American masters?

The Saudis had no other choice, by the way.

Lowering the price of oil was the only way for them to maintain their crumbling market share, but this policy has already begun to fail.

Sooner or later, all countries in this godforsaken region must go solar.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia —According to the International Monetary Fund, Saudi Arabia’s economy is in danger of collapse as oil prices grow increasingly unstable.

The warning appeared in the “Regional Economic Outlook” for the Middle East and Central Asia published on Oct. 15, an annual report published by IMF economists. Adam Leyland, writing on Oct. 23 for The Independent, explained thegrim prognosis for Saudi’s economy, which is almost completely dependent on fossil fuels:

“[T]he IMF said that the kingdom will suffer a negative 21.6 per cent ‘General Government Overall Fiscal Balance’ in 2015 and a 19.4 per cent negative balance in 2016, a massive increase from only -3.4 per cent in 2014.

Saudi Arabia currently has $654.5 billion in foreign reserves, but the cash is disappearing quickly.

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency has withdrawn $70 billion in funds managed by overseas financial institutions, and has lost almost $73 billion since oil prices slumped, according to al zajeera. Saudi Arabia generates 90 per cent of its income from oil.”

If the trend continues unchecked, the IMF believes Saudi Arabia, once one of the most powerful economies in the world, will be bankrupt by 2020.

:lol::rofl::rofl:

How much do your saudi master pay you slave? They may not afford to pay even slaves for much longer.

How OPEC can be a monopoly while it don't even have 50% of oil production capacity?

it's true non-OPEC produces more oil than OPEC, but it's not enough to meet supply.

it's because OPEC doesn't consume a giant chuck of it's oil iwhich gives it's leverage to meet non-OPEC supply and control the flow as need be.

but that has changed since Russia is producing like crazy, and U.S and Canada are producing from non-conventional sources like oil sand and tight oil.

Russia's oil is expensive to produce , so Russia would be more than glad to see iran leave OPEC just for the heck of it
