Only Indian troops withdrawing, Chinese troops continue to patrol area

Foolish Chicom calling Washington Post and Chinese diplomat Indian sources.
Only fact here is China cowardly agreed to stop road construction.
Cowardly? We have a more powerful economy and military and we are supposed to be afraid of you?. We are going head on against US, you are just a starving SUPA POWA.

Note one strange thing here:

Modi always declares his victory through his Twitter army or through his subordinates. Chest thumping is his forte - Something that is missing big time today on Doklam.

Enough said.

Word to the wise is enough.
This is called marketing which is entirely different from propaganda... I hope you understand.
We use internet as an very effective tool of providing information (you know AADHAR card but few nations do not even able to have population census)

Kindly explain....why you think India chickened out...

Since India backed out from the stand off. China will keep on constructing the road. P.S that's perfectly fine to diffuse the tensions against powerful opponents but the way Indians were projecting their stance as something like they are ready to fight with Chinese and than suddenly unilateral withdrawal makes India weak at the end of the day.

The Question was China wanted to construct road.. and India stood with Bhutan to stop it... No road constructed... Game set match for India...

Read their MEA statements, it's like a pathetic face saving statement. The Chinese statement was straight to the point. No mention of roads nor mutual withdrawal. They just mentioned 'disengagement' which basically means India withdrawing.

On the contrary...Chinese statement is the one what involves face saving... Did they tell you they have committed to not to construct the road.... No.... China and Bhutan were already doing Joint petroling of the area.

Joint patrolling? Since when? I only know Chinese troops were patrolling there and now we are patrolling that place with no obstacles since you just retreated. You committed to defend Bhutan remember? And you just left with the wind.

Any tom dick and harry reading MEA statement knw they are trying to hide something. :partay:

ONE WORD, COW WARD!

Did your FO ministry has claimed that China in principle has agreed not to construct a road ? There is nothing of such mentioned by your own ministry as well.

I said China has officially offered zero concessions in return. Key word is officially, neither side has officially mentioned anything about the road at all.

And it's true, there may have been some dealings under the table. But we'll never know what they are, since all that is confidential. We can guess all day long about what happened under the table, but we'll never know.

So I only mention what both sides have officially said. And officially, India has withdrawn, Chinese troops are still patrolling, neither side mentioned the road or any other concessions.
I understand your point...thanks for explaining....the amount of sheer idiocity i have seen here, makes me literally puke ...Now here are couple of observation on official statements from Indian source quoting MEA...

a) Indian side that " Expeditious disengagement of border personnel is happening"
b) Chinese side confirmed India side have withdrawn and Chinese troops will continue to petrol

Now i am sure you can see how smartly everything has been layered...Chinese side used to petrol the area, and they will continue to do it in future...this is nothing but status quo....Indian side smartly only said disengagement...and not made it obvious about both sides withdrawal...No side talked about road...however still - one of the chinese stand was that there won't be any negotiation/discussions unless Indian side withdraw...this is where MEA(India) made it clear, that indeed there were back door negotiations going on...so i am not sure...if your statement about zero concessions in return is true...because the whole issue was road building and Indian side wanted China to respect the status quo...from what is see above...status quo is what both sides have agreed to....which is Indian side back in barracks...Chinese side on usual patrols...plz share your thoughts....

b/w Key Board warriors are busy in spinning off it in any direction...however fact is - India, China are not going to let a small piece of land be the reason to loose decades of hard work...peace!!

That's not what the official Chinese spokesperson has said. :enjoy:

They said Chinese troops continue to patrol Donglang, and we maintain full rights over the area, which includes infrastructure construction.

How the heck can you stop us building the road if only Chinese troops are there? :P
They have magical powers to stop China from constructing the road. So what if Indian soldiers are not there, so what if India govt withdrew (unilaterally). Their souls will keep lurking in Dokhlam after eating Dokhlas and scaring Chinese soldiers :lol:

Yes, so what it means? this is the face saving formula, for both sides.....go back to status quo...without making it very obvious....and that's the reason no one is talking about freaking road...
