Alright so you think China will stop construction out of goodwill towards India, how did that work out in the South China Sea? :P Does anyone honestly believe that China will stop construction now that the Indian troops have withdrawn?
Time will tell depends what the agreements were But Chinese patrolling was never the issue it was the road Now if the road is built the Chinese members will be having good time here if it is not it will be the Indian members. At this time nobody here knows what will happen.Im just glad that two neighbours saw sense and backed of from a confrontation

.
Have you ever known China to stop construction, whether in the South China Sea or otherwise? :P

Literally the ONLY thing stopping road construction in Donglang was the unarmed Indian soldiers holding hands, and forming a human chain to stop the construction equipment.

Now the Indian side has withdrawn completely, while Chinese troops are still there. Tell me, what can stop our road construction now?
You think India just withdrew unilaterally without an agreement behind the scene on this? Despite giving somany statements so far by China on Indian withdrawal why do you think there is not even a single word on road construction, which was the main bone of contention?
SCS & Doklam are two different situations! You could bully out of your way in SCS... but it would be hard to replicate SCS stunts in disputed areas involving India!

Indian troops coming back again.

Waiting for the Indian members to spin this into a victory for Modi. :P

According to the official Chinese spokesperson, Indian troops have withdrawn, Chinese troops continue to patrol. China maintains all rights over the area, including for building infrastructure.
Indian warriors did not disappoint you, all crawling out from the woodwork in force to claim victory.

Coward Indians claim they will never withdraw unilaterally.
Now that Coward Indians ran off with tails between their legs, they claim its all about the road to nowhere.
In that case Modi must ask China to state that China will not continue to build the road to nowhere.

China has succeeded in winning over Bhutan, who have refused to speak up for India.
This road leads to nowhere except to threaten India the Chicken Neck.
China can take its time on when to finish it.
Worthwhile to note there is no joint statement.
Like a Chicken, India has timidly withdrawn without any public commitments from China.

That's not what the official Chinese spokesperson has said. :enjoy:

They said Chinese troops continue to patrol Donglang, and we maintain full rights over the area, which includes infrastructure construction.

How the heck can you stop us building the road if only Chinese troops are there? :P
Our brigade base is located only 7 km from Doklam our troops would march in within a few hours.

But this is what official Indian spokesperson has said about the troops withdrawal . :enjoy:

Does that make sense, given China's past behaviour when it comes to construction on disputed territory? Whether CPEC or the SCS?

You can twist & turn as much as you want, but truth........Chinis are........coward.......pussies!!!!!

You think India just withdrew unilaterally without an agreement behind the scene on this?

What you think does not matter. All the facts now are that India unilaterally withdrew at Donglang you like it or not. Of course you can use imaging to ease yourselves but none of it has anything to do with the facts.

And I don't even think your Indian media will still keep so silent even if they have got a single score.

Pathetic race cannot live without delusions. But anyway even this unilaterally withdraw has been already the best ending for India, compared to all other consequences. Only fools cannot see it.

What will India do if China starts building the road as only China has troops in the area?

India has lost as it wanted a withdrawal of troops by both sides. Chinese troops will stay in the area.

PS - I think Modi has done the right thing as otherwise China would have slaughtered thousands of Indians in Dolkam.

Things have gone back to the way they were before, before Chinese started constructing the road.

1. Both Indian and chinese troops have withdrawn from the stand off.
2. Chinese and Bhutanese troops will continue to patrol the area, just as before.
3. China has not resumed building the road.
