No not at all . Highway and power plant provide economic activity and generate huge revenues . Connectivity is important for economic activity. Pakistan was loosing two percent Point GDP every year due to lack of electricity.

Go and see what highways and airports did to Africa . Things are much better due to our large economy.

According to new IMF report Pakistan deficit is expected to fall to $5.9 billion from the high figure of $19 billion. Ofcourse it’s a double edged sword.... it is mostly being achieved through reduced imports and not so satisfactory increase in exports. Key here is to increase exports. Reduced imports slows down economy and effects new investment.
