PESHAWAR: At least one person was killed Sunday when militants fired mortar shells from across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border into Bajaur tribal agency, government sources said.
The sources said that the mortar shells landed in the urban Hashim Chaharmang area, killing one man.
Security forces responded befittingly after the incident, forcing the terrorists to flee the area, the sources added.
