One day to go before deadline-restoration of judiciary

DUBAI: There is only one day to go before the deadline announced for restoration of judiciary while the talks between the two main parties going on in Dubai for two days have proved inconclusive.

On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif has left for Dubai to meet with Asif Ali Zardari.

Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief is of the view that some forces do not wish to see the democracy flourishing in the country.

The ongoing talks between Pakistan People’s Party and PML-N have failed so far and the PML-N delegation is now heading back to Pakistan.

PML-N leaders have made it clear to Asif Ali Zardari that they could announce to quit the government after tomorrow night – the deadline for restoration of judiciary, sources said. However, a final decision in this regard will be made by PML-N Chief, Nawaz Sharif in his policy statement.

Earlier, a number of rounds of talks were held between the two parties but they were proved inconclusive.

I fail to understand why the Pak politicians mostly meet in dubai for deciding on the issues of Pakistan and its Governance...From Benazir to Musharraf to Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif ...Why not in Pakistan ? Or these are just coincidences in recent times ?

Indeed, this is a very valid question.
I my self have no clue, why is it so?
All I know is that all those meeting in Dubai have their looted money stored and invested in foreign countries, incl. Dubai.
What is known is that Zardari inherited a house in Dubai and it is nature of land lords to keep one bachelor house at distant place.
I suppose they all will be drinking bear and enjoying balley dance during the time between meetings.

So far punjab govt. has replaced/sacked following:
1- Cheif secretary of Punjab.
2- Hundereds of govt. employees.
3- President of Bank of Punjab.
4- IG Punjab.
All above and many more are dismissed without any charge sheet and due leagl course.
It seems, N.Sharif have to work hard to lure Mr. %Zardari% otherwise talks are deemed to be in-conclusive.

On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif has left for Dubai to meet with Asif Ali Zardari.

Nawaz Shrif sent Junior Sharif to test what is the mood of Arabs.

quiting govt. matters to no one. They should have refrain from running in elections on the first place.

It is clear that judges won't be restored by April 30, 2008 deadline. A 15 day extension in the deadline is being talked about. I think in the background negotiations are going on to make sure the judiciary after restoration does not create problems for the PPPP. Lets wait and see what happens.

the resolution will be tabled on May 12-08 for the restoration of the judges. what is surprising that it was not a joint conference of PPP-PML-N on this agreement! what gives??

so PML-N / ANP and other small parties including some independents will vote FOR.

and PPP / MQM / PML-Q / JUI-F would vote AGAINST or PPP would ABSTAIN like in the election for the president.

God knows when Nawaz stop confrontational politics. He knows well the out come. All he is doing just to contest the election and revenge from Mushi. Only two goals in his life now.
Only chance left, all judges reinstate give decision in favor of Nawaz before june by election. Kid needs a lolly pop call judges.
Now everyone raise the question why Nawaz emphysis on same old judges, why not independent judiciary. Why talk about reinstatement of judges took oath under PCO. Sounds he spent too much money on those judges. And they are the only one who can provide him pardon and get elected for assembly and clear the way for third time prime minster.
