I don't think its just violence that is on the increase, but death itself

for example amongst students, 95 suicides between academic year 2017/18 in one local university (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-47616236). then the random shootings in new york yesterday, the new zealend attack a few days ago, the holland shootings etc. probably if you caculate all the deaths, stabbings, shootings etc, and you can say the bottom line is that death is up .
