That guy was a senior journalist who was saying Pakistan exists only in the 50 mile radius around Lahore.

Either he was biased or ignorant. To me he was biased. Indians want to believe their own narrative about Pakistan.

We are neighbors. We cant change this fact. So better to be open to each other than to be hostile. But this Modi government with extreme nationalist behaviour mixed with Hindutva sentiment thinks by damaging Pakistan, they can achieve their nationalist identity. This is not animosity. This is inferiority complex.

Let them be. To be honest it's better for Pak. Let the Modi government turn away the public's attention from the real domestic issues by making Pak the boogeyman. He has successfully turned ppl away from talking about poverty, economy and other domestic problems. Moreover with the Hindutva ideology seeping into the government intolerance is on the rise...more and more ppl stand divided over race, religion and other differences. Let them be fooled about how strong India is and how weak Pakistan is.

In the meantime Pakistan/Pakistanis should quietly work on improving their economy/infrastructure/power sector. Focus on increasing exports and import less. Focus on improving agricultural techniques that save water and increase output. Have proper sewage system and build dams wherever possible in addition to water treatment plants. Build water desalination plants along the coast and prepare for future water shortages. Prevent desertification of our fertile land. Plant more trees and prevent deforestation. There's so much to do...let the enemy be delusional while Pak improves itself.
