October 18th 2017 Global Gdp Ranking

@Storm Force :

GDP growth rate is from fastest growth for 2017 down to lowest.

Pakistan GDP growth rate(%)

4.1(2015)-5.1(2016)-5.3(2017)

At least Pakistan is on the right track.

IM ASTONISHED how small the PAKISTANI GDP is still well below $300 billion

Well to be honest neither India, BD or Pakistan are all that impressive as all have GDP/Capita between 1500-2000 US dollars.

It is great to see a recovery in Pakistan's economy and hopefully CPEC can allow them to grow like BD and India have been doing for nearly 2 decades now.

NOT WITHOUT manufacturing and EXPORT and investment in modern technology.

you cant grow by selling cheap garments and carpets alone

I cant See Pakistan anywhere

But on the second Table GDP Current prices Pakistan was $276 billion in 2016

No data FOR OCTOBER 2017

Bangladesh in October is $250 billion AND gowing at a whopping 7.1%... WOW
Pakistan's GDP is $302 billion this year and growing around 5-6%

Bangladesh's GDP was nearly double compared to Pakistan's GDP in 1975. Pakistan's GDP was also only 1/12 the size of India's GDP in 1960.

We zoomed ahead in those years and inshallah will begin to do so once again. This decade has not been good to us; remember, Pakistan has been in one of the fiercest conflicts in the modern world (war on terror) that has costed us hundreds of billions of dollars and economic decay. It is only recently, that after some stability, have we seen growth pickup and our economy back on track and is expected to continue growing.

Calm down BD is still behind us, and Hindustan isn't that far ahead.

USING CAPS LOCK DOESN'T MAKE YOUR POINT BETTER

Anyway, most of Hindustan still lacks toilets, you also still have a higher percentage of people living under the poverty line, and to top it all off, your GDP per capita is only a few hundred dollars larger.

Hindustan (like the rest of the region) is still a joke, but at least the rest of us don't pretend otherwise.

Joke countries don't have multi trillion dollar gdps or 400 billion dollars in reserves

I consider India to be regional Power of growing importance and Modi is absolute enhancing our image .

He's a dam fine leader

Nothing to shout about. Both of them are in still hell and Modi is pulling India back for the remaining decade at least.

No. He has not
Forex went past 400.billion dollars
Tax revenues up 30%
And Fdi record levels

Above all some huge infrastructure projects projects starting

No but a joke of a country would have a GDP less than 2k USD and still have an active space programme.

Because everyone knows sending giant metal tubes to some red sphere is more important than feeding your country's children.

Modi is nothing special, he's pretty meh. A real leader would be someone like Sargon, Ataturk, Rasullulah (Peace Be Upon Him), Cyrus, Kanishka, etc.

Do you know about a certain country which have a space program AND a nuclear weapons program while they lost 60 million due to famine?

Hint its not India.

And joke is on you. You have less than India's GDP per Capita (nominal, PPP, etc etc etc) AND you don't even have a space program!

China's GDP per capita is substantially better than yours.

However, imo, humanity should make a global space organisation dedicated to this type of stuff, rather than each country making their own. It's more cost effective
