We should have taken offence. Furthermore we should have instead asked why was a nuclear deal with India was done and why the very same deal was denied to Pakistan. We could also ask why Afia was in jail. Pakistan needs to promote its interests worldwide. We are not the bullying partner in this relationship.

Still terrorism poses a grave threat which must be eliminated at all costs. We must defeat the Taliban and vanquish them utterly. Hakimullah Mehsud and many other top Taliban militants should have been killed by us instead of the Americans. There is much to do still before we grow confident enough to promote our interests on the global arena.

Something that has hurt us badly in promoting our interests worldwide is the terrorism situation within Pakistan. As India is starting to look outside and becoming more aggressive in foreign policy we are forced to look within because we do not have (Qouting Jinnah's terminology) peace within so how will we even think about peace without. I believe peace within is a precursor to peace without. We must sort out our house. Things will become easier once we do this.
