The fact that you mention Dr. Shah has a "soft corner" indicates to me you've a pre-disposition to believe such yourself.

I dont belive that he would ... But i certinly Being a Pakistani do have reservations and would be always on a lookout for the fact that he might not act anonomously where Pakistani Interests reside at the stake of Indian Interests .

Showing favoritism to any particular lobby other than the interests of America would be unreasonable and unacceptable. Doing so on behalf of one country over another's lobby even more so.

Actually the depth of American interests has certinly increased . Even if he does favourtism that would certinly favour both American(Less) and Indian(More) interests at the stake of Pakistan's Interests .
