#Pauri Garhwal #Uttarakhand For the first time in the history of Uttarakhand police, the NSG commandos will be posted at Kotdwar police station to protect cops in view of the thrashing of a police officer.
The police sun inspector was badly thrashed by a student inside police station in the night of October 23.
However, SP Pauri Rajiv Swroop says the commandos have been posted to avoid any mishappening in the city.
The accused student had also torn up the uniform of the officer. Since then there is a huge fear among the policemen in the police station.
Later, the police sent the accused student to jail.
The city residents have been wondering about the deployment of the commandos and expressed surprise about the security of the policemen by the special forces.
