What's new

NOW NO NEED TO FEAR from Chinese or Pakistani missiles

Yea it will be, for a total of 10min until it is taken out by the airfoce or the cruise missiles or the short range ballistic missiles or any other stand-off weapon.

Sometimes I wonder what plane of thought do you Indians operate on.

I had asked lot of time how many PAF system are capable of firing BVR. Your SAAB 2000 can not support JF-17, Chinese ZDK-03 AEW&C can not be interlinked with F-16. Only 10 batteries of Spada 2000 capable of intercept enemy missiles and aircraft at a range of over 20 km with HQ-2 Chinese version of SA-2 Guideline high altitude air defence system, 12 or more batteries procured circa 1970s.

with no credible long range SAM or QR system how PAF is going to save their forward bases against standoff missiles like Kh-59ME range - 115 km, Kh-31P/A anti-radar missile -70 km, Kh-29T/L laser-guided missile- 30 km, Brahmos supersonic cruise missile-300 km, Glide Bombs, PGM 500 and PGM 2000 modular guided bombs.

How PAF or PA is going to save their bases your planes needed in the role of interceptor against large IAF supported by highly mobile SAM like AKASH (3000) in service even IAF loss 100 MKI + 50 Mig/Mirage it will still had 200 + MKI & Mig/Mirage against nothing. IAF/IA had capacity to observe the loss and strike back but in case of PAF/PA no forget about PN they are not even in picture

that's why Pakistani Generals always talk about nuclear response. India is making sure in any such God forbid scenario for minimum loss and then wipe out Pakistan

I think title of thread is absolutely right

One thing is implied in the OP. India was fearing Pakistan and China before buying S400 system. But hey, before S400, they were saying that Pakistani missiles are s h i t at most and yet they are deploying 3 of the 5 systems on Western border! Were they lying before that Pakistani missiles are nothing or they are lying now?

Lol........they are Indians. Our biggest and eternal enemies forever, OF COURSE they WILL ALWAYS say negative things about Pakistan for the rest of eternity. That will never change. In a funny way I see the indian acquisition of the S-400 as a good thing. A blessing in disguise for Pakistan. Just like when india went nuclear, Pakistan was compelled to become a nuclear weapons state. The WHOLE world doubted us and the Indian military experts all claimed up till a day before we tested our nukes in May 1998 that Pakistan has 0 nuclear weapon and can never ever possess nukes. We know what happened to that indian theory. Just like in 1998 and whatever anyone says or thinks, I truly believe that Pakistan has the means and the ability to counter the S-400. This will also help Pakistan overcome other more ominous threats than india. Least the fate of Pakistan be that of Iraq's.

OFF TOPIC: By the way for those who doubt Pakistan's ability to produce H-Bombs, Thermonuclear weapons or nukes with 100kt explosive power please read this NON-PAKISTANI article form nearly 5 years ago:

Pakistan Doubling Rate of Making Nuclear Weapons: Time for Pakistan to Reverse Course | Institute for Science and International Security

It is evident from the above article that within the next 10 years Pakistan will have more than enough nukes with high yields to completely wipe india off the face of the planet. It is therefore in india's interest to have a war with Pakistan before this capability is reached in order to neutralize this possibility.

Seriously ? You need to develop an MIRV/MaRV to counter this. That is out of bounds for you, given your technological capabilities and R&D funding.

Oh please. It says 'In addition, plutonium-based fission weapons could enable Pakistan to build deliverable thermonuclear weapons'.The article also says that Pakistan's present arsenal comprises of low yield devices ( >50 kilotons )

Comeback after you have experimentally validated the design.Or at least, when you have confirmation about it.

Never you mind. We'll find a way just like we did when we became a nuclear weapons state, when you people were using the similar arguments to say why Pakistan can never ever become a nuclear weapons state.

You don't get it-do you? Pakistan's adoption of nuclear first use policy is actually a response to India's superiority in conventional warfare.

According to indian logic it was out of bounds for Pakistan to develop nuclear weapons with our technical, scientific and research capabilities. It was also against indian logic for Pakistan to survive beyond 1950.

The article was from April 2011 and was explaining Pakistan's nukes at that particulat moment in time. Things have dramatically increased and progressed since then. Hence the sudden and hurried American pressure on Pakistan to halt it's nuclear and missile programs.

Nah,not just us-Even a nobel prize winning nuclear physicist too claimed the same.Unless someone helped.

None of these are a confirmation about existing thermonuclear capability.Do come back when you have one.

Just don't say they're afraid of you. :o:

Yeah man...they shouldn't be afraid of us....But we should be afraid of you..isn't that your logic :P

.
May be indian decission makers thinks Chinese are more responsible nuclear capable country than Pakistan.

And what exactly makes you think that Pak is irresponsible.???

Yeah man...they shouldn't be afraid of us....But we should be afraid of you..isn't that your logic :P

Why should they be afraid of you?
and Why should you not be afraid of us??

Here I agree with you. You are an enemy that is 6-8 times bigger than us. With officially more sophisticated conventional weaponary than us. If a war does occur between Pakistan and our eternal enemy then we will need nukes for our defence.

.
Why should they be afraid of you?
and Why should you not be afraid of us??

Weird logic-They aren't afraid of us,but they are concerned about other regional powers in Asia like India or Japan.

We have no reason to be afraid of you.Or your nukes.

There was 0 confirmation that Pakistan had a nuclear weapons capability right up until a day before Pakistani tested it's nukes in May 1998. Once OFFICIAL confirmation has come through that Pakistan has thermo-nukes. That will change everything again.

. .
pakistan's eternal evergreen answer to their ever dwarfing conventional capabilities vis-à-vis India.. NUKE !

nuke nuke nuke !

the gap has only just started to increase, wait for it Pakistanis... there are many more unpleasant surprises in store for your military planners. :partay:
