It's just that too many rockets getting stucked in south korea .... If true --- pure coincidence or deliberate ???

I was thinking that too why don't use C-17s or IL-76s

There might have been a security issue or an embarrassment flying something like this over Arab skies by an IAF aircraft (we might have to inform the countries concerned, who would not have been too happy with us flying an anti-missile to Israel on an IAF plane). I guess putting it on a neutral Commercial carrier such as Korean Air might have been considered to be an amenable (no favours to seek) solution.
