According to Mustafa Azizabadi all the land lines of the Nine Zero, the headquarter of MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement) have been disconnected. MQM has condemned this act of government and MQM has called for an emergency meeting of its Rabita committee.

Where as Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the government has not disconnected telephonic lines of Nine Zero and allegations by MQM are baseless that the government has intended to attacks Nine Zero.

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee member Anis Advocate has claimed that all the landline telephones had been disconnected, Geo News reported.

Talking to Geo News, Anis Advocate said that Coordination Committee was closely monitoring the overall situation.

He claimed that Pakistan People’s Party was planning to take over the MQM Headquarter and warned PPP of serious consequences.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah brushed aside the MQM claims, saying there was no substance in such claims.

Talking to mediamen, he said efforts were afoot to persuade MQM to rejoin the government.

Now they want to do it again? They tried to end MQM but they only got stronger because us Karachiites are educated not uneducated like the majority of Pakistan. We know the true dirty faces of these corrupt governments. Karachi is the backbone, nerve of the Pakistan's economy. You fck with Karachi and all of Pakistan will collapse.
