North Korea Attacks South Korea - Latest Update

The North has numbers but the South has quality. For today's standards almost all of North Korea's weapon systems are outdated.

In a conventional war the South will have guaranteed victory at the cost of heavy losses due to such close proximity with the North. The North Korean airforce is completely obsolete except for 40 or so Mig-29's.

A clash between South and North would be like the battle of plassey, except that in this case the technologically inferior side is evil (!)

The North has some advantages :

1) Almost every able bodied civilian is trained for combat, and preparing for war is basically everything N.Korea has done so far.

2) The ground forces are very well trained and superior in number, which gives
them a numerical advantage on land.

3) North has almost no worthwhile infrastructure that it can lose, except the eternal president's mansion, the museum and the incomplete hotel.

4) North has no credibility. It is likely to use nuclear weapons to make up for the technological weakness, without worrying about being despised as it is already despised by almost every country.

If North Korea attacks South Korea

South Korea can respond fast

SK Air force F-15 jets backed by F-16 jets can strike suspected North Korean Nuclear sites

SK Air force should fully mobilize it self for Air Defence

SK Navy should keep a close watch on North Koran Submarines

SK Navy should fully mobilize it self for Navel Defense & to protect its Line of Control

SK Army should fully mobilize it self to protect its Line of Control

Who has more modern army ? Its not question, the question is, who has capability of nuclear strike, and its NK.

Why raise an army or spend money on air force. If you have some nuclear tipped missiles nobody can win a war with you.

Damn these political leaders of all countries who do all this to make profits on defence deal.

There I have given you a start for the reply.

North Korean troops are underfed, if not outright malnourished. Those goose-steps they do in those extravagant parades are probably the most physical exertions they can muster up. The ROK Marines I trained with in Osan and the American forces there called ordinary North Korean troops 'speed bumps'.

What an analysis..:hitwall:
Join Hands with NK and kiss goodbye to all the developments ..
Yeah...Some 'analysis'. The man probably does not realize how much from South Korea the components in his PC he uses to create his 'analysis'...

@gambit
Why go for full fledge war, can we just find the location of head of NK and take him out. I think it is mostly one man verses others.
Given the current power transition process, it is a toss-up on whether a precision strike to remove the head will subdue NKR. Kim Junk-ill will not last much longer.

As for Kim Junk-Un...

Kim Jong-un - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fujimoto also claimed that Jong-un is favored by his father over his elder brother, Jong-chul, reasoning that Jong-chul is too feminine in character, while Jong-un is "exactly like his father".
An all out war may not be necessary but concerted precision strikes against NKR's nuclear facilities may give the new leader a taste of what he could lose for the rest of life considering how young he is.
