Hehe, this is the North Korea's version of the "Cultural Revolution". The difference is the Chinese cultural revolution lasted about 20 years while the North Korea's has been going on for over 60 years
@Nihonjin1051 In my view what's displayed in DPRK today is another form of extremism. For their ability to last this long, @DoTell , i commend them. In fact the bravado they show and the 'devotion' to their supreme leader is reminiscent of Imperial Shintoism of yesteryears. Seeing North Korean patriotism is poignant for Japanese. As we can take a gander from their sense of fervent nationalism, actually. I believe we lost what they have.
In a good way. North Korea , in a way, has preserved that aspect we had lost.
