Hi,

Here is my insider info on one of the wind turbine projects-----. In Pk----averge wind speed is round 6----10 MPH----these turbines are optimal for 15--20 MPH base wind speed. The results are not the best---.

So---another screw up----.

With due respect, the figures vary greatly all over Pakistan. Near coastal areas like Karachi they are much higher than the 6-10mph range. Weather plays a big role as well. Winds come from east to west in summers and then reverse in winters. A better option would be to install off shore wind turbines along Sindh/Balochistan coasts.
