I really liked the way he spoke his mind and the somewhat funny combination of questions.

I'm no knowledgeable person on warfare or military sciences, but there is only one way maybe you can inflict some damage to a submarine with grenades:

1. The sub is afloat, its hatch open, any detection system for enemy aircraft off or out of order.

2. A mechanism is available for detaching clips of all handgrenades at a time.

3. The dropping height is small enough to allow a maximum falling time of five seconds.

4. The grenades are contained in an aerodynamic shaped container.

5. A pilot with the skill of Hans Rudel.

6. And a squadron of escort fighters.

These may not be all, but I just tried to help you.
