Non-Pakistanis, what Pakistani food do you want to try?

For all the non-Pakistanis out there, what Pakistani food do you want to eat if you get the chance?
If YouTube videos about your food are to be believed, one would need a long vacation to taste every unique delicacy and experience the warm heartedness exemplified by the Pakistani awaam.

For a glutton like me I'd like to try your famous chapli kababs, lips smacking naharis and numerous other delicacies.

A good suggestion for people looking to try Pakistani food is sajji with rice, i love dogar sajji in lahore.

Lahoriye eat Sajji with rice????

First you guys sell pulao in the name of Biryani and now having Sajji with rice even though it has to be had by itself or with thin chaapti

(Don't take serious, it's on lighter note)

I like koftas too. Wierdly i like them with eggs.
Those are called nargisi kofta.. a traditional meal of Mughal kings

I like Chicken and rice, it works for Pepe's and i think that's how arabs tend to serve whole chicken too.

One of my favourite dishes that people should try is something we call "sarya na saag", especially when it's cooked with some lassi in it.

You deserve to be banned for posting these mouth watering photos- Drooling!

Bombay biriyani sucks-Its not at all authentic.
While at it also try the ultimate barbecue from Pakistan,

You can have it on its own or with rice i like it with rice it's upto you, i might be a bit biased as the first time i tried it was with rice so could be a nostalgic thing.

And as far as the pulao thing, i can't defend that its a disgrace, a lot of places do sell pulao in the name of biryani.

Do people eat the bones of the batairay? it's such a small bird, must take forever to eat it, little bit at a time.
It's like eating a fish.

Just because you like shamsi kebab more doesn't mean its better then chapli Kebab. To each his own preference.

Besides you can't compare the 2.
That is meat patty. While shami is cooked lentils with chicken parry that is already cooked.

I live in lahore and I have not seen palak paneer ever in my life. Hotels sale palak ghost, palak chicken or plak with biryani. But never palak paneer.
It is Indian dish atleast not found in kpk balochistan and punjab. Don't know about sindh.

In villages people make paneer.
But it is not that famous.
People who like to eat cheese prefer imported variants. And our local food barely use any cheese unless modern versions.
I have never seen anyone in my city eating palak paneer or anything from paneer. But they make it in villages when they have cows and abundance of milk and eat it.
Thats surprising...panneer is brought to south india by north indians...and it has caught on quite a bit in dhabas and restaurants...I thought east punjab and west punjab have same food.

You people eat paneer, as an alternative to meat.
Just like other vegans eat tofu.
Pakistan they make butter from milk and drink butter milk of by product. They don't usually make cream or cheese which is very easy.
During my childhood, there is a program on TV on how to make cheese paneer, butter and other milk stuff. Also how to grow mushrooms, silk, fish etc. Very informative program. I alwsy love watching it 30 min. It was always on when I return from school and I watch it lol.

That doesn't matter. It is not a blasphemy. Different regions add to food. And it evolves. The rice served are very tasty and nothing like biryani.

I really don’t know of any one specific thing, But one day I would love to sample some of Pakistani street food.

And I don’t mean to import it, I actually want to go there and eat the real deal.
Try Isht pusht & tazaan:

What lahoris call saji is blasphemy.
This is how Sajji is prepared
