I've lived in Japan for two years in fact. I've noticed that they often used GPS technology in their cars, along with many other technological awesomeness.

And that was way back in the mid-90s! The West wasn't even close to adopting that level of technology at the time.

I lived in the UK after that, and thought: "Who the hell are these cavemen?" lol...
