Things people do for selling their books and publish their articles!

Indus valley civilization has been different from that of Ganges civilization. Similarities yes, differences? Again yes. Just the way culture changes as you move in any part of the world.

However, more than half of Pakistan is west of River Indus and that area is distinctly different than India in every possible way a culture can be from other. Such "experts" often consider Pakistan as plains area east of Indus. What about Pashtuns, Baloch, Hazarajats, Balti, Gilgiti, Seraiki, Makrani, Hindku, Kailashi etc who don't share much with Indians? Are they not Pakistanis? In fact Baluch traditions have such a humiliating status for Hindus that if propagated in India, they will forget their support for Balochistan Insurgency.

Unfortunately media has lot more influence on larger population and shapes their perception to a specofic mindset. Projection of such money lusting "experts" is part of that. She might have never seen Pakistan west of Indus.

Is she talking about certain parts of Punjab and Sindh? Because Pashtun and Baloch certainly share nothing with Hindustan.

Just as we share nothing with about half of all Indians? That is - Marathi, Oriya, Northeastern and Dravidians populations, and more. Khair, doesn't matter.

hate which filled in brains of 3 generations can't be removed now sorry but pakistanis are happy as arab slaves

Do you ever stop spouting nonsense? Almost every post you make is childish ranting.

It doesn't matter how 67 year old nations want to carve up 5000 year old history (exception being creationist who can't figure out how old humans are). The fact of the matter remains the two nations in question represent diametrically opposite national rhetoric and that is how it will remain.

That can be called a comprehension issue because WE are the Indus valley not YOU.

Beware: this post may incite the need to troll.
The Indus valley, and to put into the plainest terms - 'Punjab'; fathered most of 'Indian' culture, starting from their principal religion Hinduism, onto Sanskrit and it's standardization by Panini, and so forth. I dare-even-say that the reason why vegetarianism is so prevalent might also be linked to the production of vegetables in the ever-fertile Indus plains. The last one is a thought though, don't quote me on it.

you have ignore button?:o:

Unfortunately, it seems the only way to avoid brain-damage these days..

The Sindhu river was called Indus by Greeks and Hindhu by Persians. So the name of India and their people comes from Pakistan. Moenjadaro and Harrapa are located in Pakistan. After Sarsawati river lost its tributaries and land became barren many locals moved to Ganges river and Hindu religion took its roots. Indus Valley civilization belongs to Pakistan and Ganges valley to India.

We are all Homo Sapiens no? :D

Most - not all. At least not by reading some of the brain-dead comments on this thread. Perhaps they're the last living members of the Neanderthals?

Like the Zionazi racist theory of "Chosen People" based on Jewish religion only now the Hinduvta lunatics are also creating their own version of Hindu master race!

The whole of Pakistan came into existence after we gave OUR, the magic word here is OUR, land to you along with some 22 crore rupees. Your elders did not even had proper pens and pencils or notepads for your office work.. Let alone for the majority of your civilians. Thank Gandhi for that 22 crore, u had a chance of full 65 crore had your little mujahids not attacked Kashmir.

Aiyaya. I want to go to sleep, don't make me watch this thread for much longer
Punjab is the land of the Punjabi people, Sindh of the Sindhi, Pakhtunkhwa of the Pashtun and so forth, very simple so far? Basically, my dear, Pakistani people gave their land for the foundation of Pakistan. You keep saying 'Indian' as if it was the private property of the Tamil or Assamese. Goodness.

But where did the Pakistanis got 'their' punjab..?? It was our Punjab. My ancestors Punjab, we being from Patiala.
Anyway, no one is asking you not to sleep.. But trolling is embedded in your brain so deep it won't even let you sleep, my dear. Good night now ;p

The land belongs to people of South Asia not to Hinduvta lunatics only. The majority of people of this land voted to be part of new nation of Pakistan.

More Punjabis live in Pakistan than India !!

The name of our country is - Bharatiya Ganarajya. This is completely of native origin. Republic of India is the English for it.
Hindu is derived from Sindhu - this is true. Sindh is there in our national anthem as well. We love Sindh.
We were the same. The difference was the God we prayed to. Funny don't you think? Just the method of worship made a West Punjabi and East Punjabi different... Ok, it's more tragic than funny considering the blood that flowed. As for the riots - they were engineered for politics. People were uneducated. There was no self radicalization as is now. There was no internet that one would watch some mullahs video and start a riot. No, they did because they were mobilized by efficient and ruthless politicians. That was all.

Punjabis sure are the same people on both sides of the border; you can say eastern Pakistanis and northern Indians are closely related. But what about the rest of India, the south for example - what do we Pakistanis have to do with them? Only the uneducated will call them the same of us. Other than you northerners culturally dominating the south, what is similar between you too as well? The very name 'Bharat' - from Aryabharat (Aryavarta), excludes their land. The name Hindustan only really implies the northern half your country; as does the foreign name India only really apply to the lands east of the Indus river, but not really all the way to the South. Everything that is ever marketed as being Indian (a good example being the cuisine) is mostly from the North and the list truly goes on.
Yet, despite all of these technicalities, the word 'India' and the term 'Indian' refer to the entire republic - and then you want us to call ourselves the same as, and feel related to you 'Indians'? I don't think so.
That is all.

And my ancestral Punjab also, dear. Most of Punjab is in Pakistan, save a tiny portion known as the Indian Punjab, then what is there to complain about?

Dear Indian members,

Please draw similarities with Baloch, Pashtun, Hazaras, Seraikis of Pakistan which make more than half of Pakistan. Or else please come to terms with our existence as a nation. No one donated his land for us. We were living here for thousands of years and it was our land. Our ancestors did not like you people so they decided to draw a border. We never regretted their decision. Even when a part of us separated, they never thought of going back to India. Please try and understand, we dont like living with you.

Sincerely,
From Pakistan

FYI Himachal Pradesh, Haryana were also part of Indian Punjab sir ji. So if you want to go by that logic , we still have a bigger area.
Anyway, thank Nehru and Jinnah or we wud be at each others throats.. And still living under the same Bharat Ganarajya.
I'm out of this thread now...
