No need to panic from COVID-19 - PM Imran Khan

WHO has certified Pakistan's efforts amongst the best in the world.

IK should make those exceptional measures public. This will enable other nations to benefit in safeguarding their citizens.

It's all public lol

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday announced that he will address the nation ‘soon’ on the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, urging people to follow the safety instructions issued by the government.

Taking to Twitter, the prime minister informed his followers that he was “personally overseeing measures to deal with COVID 19”.

“While there is a need for caution there is no need for panic,” he tweeted.

PM Imran said that his government was alert to the dangers of the virus and that “sufficient protocols” for the safety of the people had been put in place by the government.

You do not understand the gravity of the situation. This is a pandemic which will change the way of life for humans as it happened 2000 years ago when Romans casually decided to hang an innocent man.

Do not mislead people on purpose. It usually does not end well.

Finally someone who grasps the real size of what we face. This pandemic will eventually pass but the mark it leaves on economies and the nature of work society family etc will be profound.
World will not be the same

As Prime Minister one can understand that he has to play with calm words as to not let panic set in.

He simply lacks professionalism and has a general problem of expressing his thoughts(which for a politician is a blessing in disguise). Thankfully he has a million mouthpieces who are ready to intellectually defend his each spoken word. We live in a world where nothing can go either completely wrong nor completely right.

Idealism is a still born concept.
