There are worse cases in the USA. But the thing is why evacuation in India?

India is a country where mob lynching is a norm. Imagine a situation where media starts war hysteria and Indian RSS starts its usual practice of killing Chinese visitors. It's the right decision whether under the cover of covid-19.

But even if it's due to covid, the decision is right. India is about to reach its max capacity in the hospitals. A country where own Muslim citizens are barred from getting care, do we expect they will provide it to Chinese visitors?

I just spoke to a Chinese friend in India. The Government did really order for evacuation. He's trying to get his flight tickets. I suppose the war will begin after the evacuation.

I really hope the war doesn't break out....this would be against the Chinese wisdom.

At the same time, India should not be let off the hook without being punished …. but the punishment should not be a blood bath ….. instead! the punishment should be dismantling of the indian designs and strategy.

Indian has picked fights with all its neighbours and wants to become the regional super power....international players are happy to accept her in this role.

China, taking this opportunity, should not let India off the hook till the following issues are sorted with justice and parity and the centre of the outcome:

1. Kashmir.
2. Laddakh and other joining areas.
3. Nepal
4. Bangladesh.
5. and internal indian issues - like Sikhs and Muslims.

China, combined with regional countries, has the power to do this …. and now is the time.

But the best part is, nobody knows why the evacuation is for. The Government didn't tell them about it. We kinda have a bit of an idea because of this forum. Kinda like speculating.

The virus is spreading fast in the country, and our resources are stretched. The hatred this has provoked in the country for Chinese or anyone resembling them is acute. Add to that the war hysteria stoked by the news channels. Put together it will endanger the lives of Chinese in more than one way.
So it's not impossible the Indian government itself quietly advised China to evacuate their citizen for their own safety.
The current border " confrontation" seems to be mainly a propaganda war. On the ground there seem to be nothing beyond chestbumping
