What's new

No delegation, member of Congress or diplomat of the US will be welcomed by the Senate

Good move by the U.S.. We need to understand America is a place that's is racist and ignorant. We should just use them as they use the rest of the world.

isnt it obvious...

Obviously not. Please explain.

The other guy is a retired general, its much easier to discriminate against civilians than it is to the military establishment.

That he's a retired general makes no difference. He's still a Muslim, no? If US was discriminating against Muslims, in general, neither would get the visa.

If US was discriminating against Muslims

I never said this, I said they are trying to send a message 'let in the general, but make it difficult for the other guy so they know how we are doing it now'

If this was just an honest mistake, why is it against a high ranking politician, and why did the state department not clarify the issue?

Why some people so emotional? Why every matter is perceived from the lens of us versus them?

Technical issues can arise during administrative proceedings due to a number of reasons and they are to be sorted out by the individual who is responsible. It shouldn't matter if the individual in question is a senator or ordinary person. He or she should be subjected to same rules, if we talk about fairness. Otherwise, we are endorsing VIP culture and expecting others to do the same for us.
