So please spare me the nonsensical annointment of the Russians over the Americans. Pakistan did not ask the Russians to invade Afghanistan..they did that all by themselves. And when they did that, they killed far more Afghans than the Americans were able to in 16 years of their occupation. I know this does not jive with the current narrative in Pakistan but Russians have done plenty of killings of Muslims. Forget Afghans and Pakistanis who died (in our tribal areas), it was just recently when thousands of Syrians were killed by Russian missile and air strikes all over that poor country. Idiots here were singing praise of the Russians and their Bath party murderers.

Perhaps you were not around 1979 onwards but I vividly remember Russian bombing campaigns not only inside Afghanistan, but also into Pakistan's tribal areas.
