No beef, no TPP entry: US experts

Given, I have empathy for him, but I find it hard to discuss with @NiceGuy . If you try to explain something, all he will do is call you an 'Ah Q'. And use the popcorn emoticon.

I wish he will notice my sincerity. No matter what disputes we may have, I realize, we are destined to sit next to each other and remain geographical and cultural neighbours. (I know it means nothing, but, frankly, not even one Vietnamese member is on my ignore list. I value their opinion). Hence, no matter how much the interests of my own land (Greater China) means to me, I cannot wish harm to our historical neighbours.

I have serious doubts of this trade pact and what is the most creepy is the secrecy. Where is democracy and accountability? I am afraid of the possibility that the TPP will be passed through a civil (democratic) coup in many parliaments/congresses, with little knowledge of the general public. Just like how Japan-US security treaty first passed through the Diet while millions were out on the street protesting against.

Again, this is just the personal opinion and not even hypothetically I would like to tell others what they should do. LOL. Their country, their call.

@NiceGuy , do you know what specific items is your government negotiating with the US government? Do your government inform you about the laws and regulations? How informed are you? Does your government share anything with you? Any details of the proposed agreement? I am not talking about the stage where the laws is brought to the national assembly. How much do you know now?

@NiceGuy , do you know what specific items is your government negotiating with the US government? Do your government inform you about the laws and regulations? How informed are you? Does your government share anything with you? Any details of the proposed agreement? I am not talking about the stage where the laws is brought to the national assembly. How much do you know now?

Yeah, we have a lot of information abt TPP, the expert also analyst the advantage and disadvantage of VN when joining TPP. Some small companies may not survive, the unemployment rate may increase coz VN will use better tech to produce, but we will have a bigger market, VN can get rid of cheap-illegal copied CN's products and we can quit TPP if it doenst bring enough benefit to us

I am not talking about "expert opinion." Experts can be bought.

Will you (the general public) be able to see the draft agreement before it is signed?

I never say VN is Not poor, okay ?. But we poor bcz of so many wars happened and bcz of US sanction while CN is not so poor coz Deng xiaoPing bowed down , accepted US's rule over TW and begged for US's support in 1979 instead of keep fighting against US to unify TW like chaiman Mao did.

But CN will back to dirty poor nation again when the TPP deal come to reality coz No one , including your TW, will buy cheap-illegal copied China products

You can keep shouting and cursing，the fact is our leaders get a headache about earning too much dollars by our cheap illegal copied products，why the world do not buy your expensive legal creative products ？I forget to tell you vietnam is trade defict to us，you are welcome，no thanks.

As all the Chinese in this forum agreed,we welcome Vietnam to join TTP,we do not care about what you can get or lose,you no need keep telling your DREAM to us. That only keep deepening our impression of the naive and stupidity of your people.
