Atleast China is saving NK from Starvation

It's damn shameful how low we humans have fallen that we are seeing other humans dying of starvation .. On the other hand we waste tons of food which could have been used by those people

Well said. the first instinct of an animal, in which we are one, is to look for food in order to survive. Even a newborn baby that knows nothing but knows how to cry for food.

In this modern world, where the resources are aplenty, no one should die of starvation, and if someone does die of starvation, then we human failed collectively.

I am not against food aid, but you should support US & ROK initiatives against NK. The only reason the NK megalomaniacal regime exists is because of China's support and since you say it has no use for you now, then why China is still backing them? This will greatly increase the chance of solving the conflict without war.

The regime will be there regardless whether there's a China support or not. As I said, China backs them to keep the status quo, China simply doesn't want to deal with the uncertainty after the regime change. It will be very naive to think if the regime collapses, the country will be pro western or re-unite with SK.


If you pay close attention to the real development instead of media noise, China/US/ROK/Japan/Russian are pretty much on the same page on key issues on nuclear test, economic openning up. There're differences on the detail implementations. Neither ROK nor China wants to have the situation esclated for instance while US doesn't have much concern since they don't live next to NK. As to the aid, US and ROK also constantly provides aid. I don't see much initiatives from US/ROK side that can solve the situation effectively.

And different country also have national interests, no country other than China has to worry about 3 milliion NK refugees. SK put enough mines along NK/SK border so they don't face the problem. If SK is willing to take all refugees, then let's talk about initiatives.

Come talk to China about Human Rights when you stop your public beheadings and stop chopping off hands and feet for petty thievery, and throw your entire Royalty in jail for abuse of humanity.

As for North Korea, yes they're a crazy regime, but that's no reason to withhold food. It's called HUMANITARIAN AID. Don't punish the citizens for the sins of their leaders.
