Turkey has strongly condemned the decision of Bangladesh court that upheld the death penalty for Jamaat-e-Islami chief Matiur Rahman Nizami.

Addressing a public programme on Friday, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the country considered Bangladesh’s decision neither to be a ‘fair governance’ nor a ‘democratic mentality’, according to a release of the office of the Turkish president.

“I condemn the mentality that sentences a mujahid to death, who has neared the age of 70 and who we believe has no earthly sin,” said the president while addressing a mass opening ceremony of facilities of the new service building of Eyup Municipality.

Erdoğan continued saying, “I consider such proliferation of hatred there and the understanding that orders such death sentences despite our repetitive initiatives neither as a fair governance nor as a democratic mentality.”

Erdogan complaining about democracy in Bangladesh?

:omghaha:

The man is a megalomaniac. He should get his own house in order.

Shame on Erdogan for siding with a notorious al-badar criminal.Nobody asked his opinion regarding this. But he has a habit of siding with muslim war criminal from whatever countries they came from.It is the case with BD and it was the case with Sudan's wanted Omar Bashir.Seems like he is the godfather of muslim war criminals.Sensible Turks should put a dirty socks to his big mouth for the sake of maintaining good relation between BD and Turkey.

Turkey should not interfere into the internal matters of India
@T-123456 @Zulkarneyn why did President Erdogan felt that he should talk about things which don't concern Turkey ?

When did Turkey interfered in India's matter?

Saying a guy from country who just think it has right to interfere in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, China, Pakistan etc......

Talk about hypocrisy. Erdogan is a man, he did not brag about 56 inch chest like of your Modi, who then gets phus when faces real opponent.

while he is busy in killing kurdish ethnic people and arming and supplying money to ISIS, condemning Bangladesh.
