Nirbhay Cruise Missile range is potentially 1600+kms

Indian tamasha and bull plop

Desert Ferrari in the Sky?o_O:disagree:

One thing the Pakistani military does well is they keep these things under tight control, weapons are planned, prepared and tested under tight control with few announcements and then a big reveal
Which tends to throw indians into a tizzy of depression and accusations of chini maal chinni maal:lol::lol:, fake tests:lol:

Indians bang their chicken chests and beat their drums for years before a weapon even gets off the ground and when it turns out to be INDIAN J.U.N.K and its pointed out to them they trip over themselves trying to justify junk

EXCLUSIVE: Big New Hurdle For India’s Arjun Battle Tank
Shiv AroorMar 13 2017 12 35 pm

India’s Arjun main battle tank, possibly the country’s longest and most trouble-ridden armament programme, has just hit the latest in a history of formidable hurdles. And it’s a big one. One that amplifies the programme’s inextricable quality as a faraway castle that will never be fully realised by its makers or embraced by its customer, a tragicomic meandering that began with a requirement, stupefyingly enough, right after India’s 1971 war with Pakistan. In the tech world, the Arjun would be veritably vaporware.

The above is for anyone who thinks Indian Junk MkII is any better

Stop your Nirbhays from crashing into the ground then come talk to us

Pakistan has had active cruise missiles for a decade now:pakistan: just FYI

Hi!
DRDO's annual report has just been published and it contains wealth of information on various systems except strategic ones. For instance DRDO's report has this to say about Nirbhay and indigenous turbofan:

Analyzing, open source report on Nirbhay we see that Nirbhay has a potential to reach beyond 1600kms. This is because in recent HATs, Manik micro turbofan could run for 2hrs continuously at max load conditions. Now since both Manik and Russian Saturn 36MT are in 450kgf class and similar SFC, one would expect similar ranges. Now extrapolating, the fact that last trial lasted for 50mins and Nirbhay could cover ~700kms, with the indigenous Manik, they should be able to cover a range of more than 1600kms. One must also bear in mind that the Nirbhay was flying very low <200m in it's last flight in certain sections of the mission. If however, the missile flies all high at 8km altitude, then range can further be increased to 2000kms!
In my opinion, even a 1600kms range for Nirbhay is more than enough for India's current needs. It surpasses the capabilities of Pakistan's Babur in range criteria.

Where does this say nirbhay has potential range of 1600km???

What open source are you actually speaking about?

I remember how once @Oscar owned your sorry arse, so try to be humble here and again, don't over estimate yourself like you are second Einstien. Don't know why you Indians have habit of chest thumping.
As far as owning is concerned, I don't think you get the gist of the discussion. I've some degree of respect for the member you've tagged. However unfortunately he too dodges the fundamental questions pertaining to Pakistani military R&D.
And as far as IIT is concerned, don't bother, you are in no league.

I have been with your famous uni IIT guys in facebook groups and discussed a lot of things in a Good environment with them during my graduation and I exactly know what this chest thumping and overconfidence came from
You don't know a thing, so please either contribute meaningful or don't embarrass yourself. Just go to any top US univ and see for yourself the number of IIT/NIT folks there. I'm sure I'm wasting my time explaining you all these coz you won't get a thing. But in case you are interested in a healthy debate, do let me know. Thanks in advance

Lol, just so you know I didn't want to reply you but lets just say I am making an exception..I thought you are some mature guy with good industry experience or in any research area but it turns out you are another ignorant Indian whose only rant is like a desi aurat that I am the best and you are the worst!

Let me tell you something Kid, I am a graduate myself and I don't get easily impressed by your ratta system IIT institutes or in fact any university of the world, it is the skills of the graduate that matters to me and make me impress rather than ratta, I remember some years ago at Facebook group "Embedded Systems", how I had to walk through each n every step of configuring basic AVR controller to your famous IIT 6th semester student when even a simple google or data sheet would have done the job and this is just one case so cut the bullsh!t. And just so you know, till last year before moving to Telenor, I was working for LMKR (search it on google) and our main Houston Office had both Indian and Pakistani colleagues. With daily interaction with them, of course in a friendly way (they are really nice guys btw) I exactly know the caliber of you guys so dont bullsh!t here that you guys are in no league so infact it is me who has actually wasted my time on a nut case like you.

I dont know what your age is and what actually is your Industry experience, lets just exchange LinkedIn profiles and I'll know exactly what your achievements are and why you boast so much.

The whole point of earlier post was to ask you to be humble, we know what we are and what we can achieve, we don't need your certificate.

Peace out!

.
Lol..don't overestimate yourself..If you know a little about a thing or two that doesn't mean you start considering others inferior or something like that...Scientific things, my foot...I have been with your famous uni IIT guys in facebook groups and discussed a lot of things in a Good environment with them during my graduation and I exactly know what this chest thumping and overconfidence came from and how much your graduates know about their fields. I remember how once @Oscar owned your sorry arse, so try to be humble here and again, don't over estimate yourself like you are second Einstien. Don't know why you Indians have habit of chest thumping.
And how did you know those in facebook groups were representative sample from IIT cohort? Or they were from IIT in the first place?

.
Arjun is back in service, but I understand your need to point out something that happened years ago.
Insas won us a war is still serving and kicking some well desrved terrorist @$$.
Rustom hasn't crashed once.
Tejas is an inducted into service, that alone should tell you that it succeeded. Rest of your post is factless, conjecture and opinion.

Around and LCA are completed failed projects. Just they are completed does not mean they are successful. India would be better off abandon them.

That's what your profiles are for, I am sure like me you would have written as well where are graduating from. And I am sure there are would be some really good and brilliant guys in IIT but the above guy has analogy that just because someone is from IIT, it makes him ultimate and we are in no league with them, I was answering to it that this is plain BS!
And don't cherry pick things from my post, as I said, I have worked with Indians and they seems to nice but thinking that you are some class and others are sh!t, well you are suffering from inferiority complex, people with smalls minds think like that. peace out!

That's your opinion, and opinions aren't facts.

The point being Arjun and Tejas are inducted which means they will be used if the situation ever arises.
I don't know what is the definition of successful if not that.

.
I think range may be 16000 km... although in tests it usually falls around 160

Well, the proof is in the pudding.

Most of these grads are in US or the west. Both in terms of attainment of education, earnings, wealth on average or on individual basis they are way above almost everyone, may be jewish folks are more successful than them.

And the reason why I think you are below them is because you are relying on "Facebook Profiles". Anyone can make any profile with any name. Plus there is always a self-selection bias. There is a reason why poor people say that crime is increasing in the world while in reality it is going the other way around. Because they live in shitty places. The folks you interacted with were not randomly drawn but guided by facebook groups.

Dear, Look I am not gonna waste my time on you as you guys since your childhood have made to think that IIT's students are some kind of superman, memorized books/ratta and get admission, just like in Pakistan we think NUST/UET/PIEAS students are hard working guys blah blah blah (I am myself UET graduate). I don't know what your qualification is but what you said, if this is the proof of being intellectual...then Just search how many Pakistani grads are in Europe, even alone in Germany, even a lot of my seniors are there...Tell you what, I am myself gonna pursue Higher studies in Germany this year and applied at TUM, which is regarded as one of the best unis of Germany with QS ranking 61 (though rankings are highly subjective and I don't believe in them) and guess what, like other unis, it has place Pakistan and India in same category..i.e. we have to give GRE to be even eligible to apply because they don't trust our education system. Look here
https://www.tum.de/en/studies/application-and-acceptance/special-conditions-for-certain-countries/
Go ahead open it...!
So don't tell me that your IIT grads are some class and Pakistani grads are not..., again , give me your LinkedIn and I'll see what is your expertise otherwise please don't bother to reply as I will not waste my time.

Regards

From your own link.
For certain degree courses you also need to provide a current GRE (Graduate Record Examination) or a current GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

GRE and GATE are internationally accepted, standardized graduate admission tests. Please note that when applying with a GRE, you need to provide the General Test - the Subject Test does not suffice.

Graduates with a degree from an Indian Institute of Technology do not need to provide a separate GATE. When applying for Studienkolleg, you do not need to provide a GATE or GRE.

Go ahead! Cry! And curse Jinnah!

Thank you Jinnah!

PS: GATE is an INDIAN exam, conducted by IITs and IISc. And it costs much less to appear in it, compared to GRE. It is better suited to assess engineering academic caliber of a person.

PPS: IITians do not even need to appear in GRE or even GATE. TYVM!

No one trusts your Muslim education system because it is shit. Indian education system is treated differently.

Enjoy!

This conversation is the proof that Pakistan are way under us Indians, because they are so careless that they don't even care to read what you refer to.

Heck I have seen foriegn non muslim folks have better command at your Quran than your own Molvis because they tried to read it and understand it.

Around and LCA are completed failed projects. Just they are completed does not mean they are successful. India would be better off abandon them.
Well, India seems to have failed its way to success. Even Indian jet engine has made progress enough that it could now be integrated.
Too bad! Taiwan is not even a country.

When you put fuel for 2 hours flight the fuel fraction becomes too high for the motor and a bigger one will be required.
