from the kurdish source itself. Not the first time either. They do all this to inflict more damage to the iraqi forces who will attack Hawija after Mosul OP.

NRT
SULAIMANI — Nine officers and members of Peshmerga forces were detained over the suspected smuggling of food and automobile parts to Islamic State (ISIS) militants, a Peshmerga commander said.

Commander Mustafa Chawrash, speaking to Voice of America on Wednesday (January 4), said an investigation continues with members of Kurdish forces detained south of Kirkuk after they were suspected of smuggling automobile parts to ISIS militants around Hawija.

“The nine officers and members of Peshmerga must be sent to court if the verdict goes against them,” the commander said.

The Peshmerga commander’s statements come after an NRT report from the last few days. NRT continues an investigation into smuggling to ISIS but none of the officials in the Ministry of Peshmerga are ready to provide a statement.

Peshmerga and police sources who spoke to NRT said a number of automobiles – on their way from Daquq district – have been seized while carrying goods to ISIS-held areas.

Some Peshmerga commanders, most of whom were from Daquq’s 9th brigade, were brought into custody on Friday (December 30) and Saturday (December 31) on suspicion of smuggling, according to Peshmerga and police sources.

A team of NRT journalists paid a visit to Daquq district for further research. The district’s Peshmerga officials confirmed the arrest of suspects over smuggling to ISIS but expressed a stance against providing further details on the justification that an investigation was underway.

The Kurdistan Region’s Presidency, earlier in 2014, formed a committee to prosecute 15 suspects arrested over the alleged smuggling of oil in collaboration with the militant group.

NRT obtained a video in October 2015 showing Peshmerga forces seizing an ISIS automobile with 2015 model plates.

Are you surprised? These traitors are bad for everyone. Iraq needs to do more.
