Nigel Farage: £350 million pledge to fund the NHS was 'a mistake'

. .
Serves the pro-Brexit old farts right lol.

How many people have voted 'out' based on the NHS funding ?
Imagine telling those people within 1 hour of the results 'it was a mistake'.
-
Sorry, but if the voters were dumb enough to trust him and Boris, what can I say ?

what they dont get is that the land border from france the actuall uk border is in france not in the uk so this means we will be getting migrant camps.

But Xavier Bertrand, the centre-right president of the Hauts de France region, tweeted today: “The English wanted to take back their freedom, they will have to take back their border.”

.
well your alright you liv in the land of oz and have a contingency plan in the land of blondes, lol.

lets just hope we can get a second vote going as most people dont know why they were voting leave in the first place. given a second vote the results would dramatically change.

what if im self employed and i open a business there as a software company then what. that whould be a good skilled job........ i guess.

the tax rates are crap there.... way to high
http://www.netsalarycalculator.co.uk/80000-after-tax/

health care is not as good as ours but you can live with it though.
pensions are bad i guess.
i guess i may have to look at canada or new zealand instead. shame i could have purchased a sh!t load of land in the outback.

DONT SAY THAT !!

waz does that include you

Well honestly I see a little chance of having a 2nd referendum even though the petition for calling the second referendum has already reached a 800000 mark.

.
Watching a debate on tv.Britain lost today what it would have paid to the EU for 15 years.Great success !

Also, saw Farage bactracking on his promises when interviewed.Priceless moment when a bewildered reporter asks him :" Now you tell us it was a lie, after we're OUT????".....Farage (dead serious): "yes".....LMFAO
Not even 1% surprised. Any idiot who bought the rhetoric of leave, wholesale, is an idiot and deserves what's coming to them.

just watched the interview... I guess you did not understand what he was saying.. now read this and watch his interview again.
Farage was NOT included in the 'leave' campaign.. not sure why, but he was NOT... you see that red bus, Farage was not in that...
so he ran his own campaign.. and in this interview he was talking about mistakes of 'leave' campaign which he was not part of.. he said the same in the interview itself... and said the whole amount(10 billion) is up for grab to do whatever you want to do with it.(NHS, road, school etc)

.
well your alright you liv in the land of oz and have a contingency plan in the land of blondes, lol.

I am married......So for me, Sweden is not a land of blonde for me, it is a land of cold for me........

And my wife used to be blonde, one day she asked me a quite innocents question

"Did I look good as a brunette?"

Then about $1,000 dollars and 3 salon visits later, she came home a brunette

lets just hope we can get a second vote going as most people dont know why they were voting leave in the first place. given a second vote the results would dramatically change.

To be honest, I did not care much about the UK or the EU :(.....I am just a non-resident citizen of their country. I am more Ozzie and American if anything else.

Beside, no offend, I hated the British Government.......You may not know about this, but most Hong Kong people between 30-50 today actually quite hated the Brits, they felt betrayed. Remember I said when the change over came, most British Citizens were transferred to either British National Overseas and BOC. Most of them since they have tie to Hong Kong and China, and were given BN(O) Status, which is a non-residence British National. That basically mean they are British, but they are NOT ALLOWED to live in the United Kindgom.....Yet, all their tax prior to turn over were handed to the crown. On the other hand, British handed out Special Citizenship to people in Gibaltar and Falklands Island and other crown colony, which have the same status as Hong Kong before turn over. And the fact that Portugal granded full citizenship to every Macau resident just putting the icing on the cake for the Hong Konger......

But I would have to say had I voted, I would vote for remain, and just shocked about the outcome.

what if im self employed and i open a business there as a software company then what. that whould be a good skilled job........ i guess.

That would actually harder than skill migration or sponsorship.

Unlike other country, Australia does not offer investment visa like they do in most other country, there are still investment visa, but instead of looking at capital invested, they look at your business turnover. Unless you have a sure fire way to earn positive income in Australia, you would be better off working off Australian Business.

There are still investment in Australia tho, but they worked on a point scale, which make it more or less the same as being a skill migrant.

the tax rates are crap there.... way to high
http://www.netsalarycalculator.co.uk/80000-after-tax/

You mean is it high in Oz or High in the UK? I don't know about the British System (I was paid in US when I was working in the UK), but the in Australia, you pay a package rate, so basically you don't pay for the tax yourself, that's your employer job. You just get the cheque for refund every July.

health care is not as good as ours but you can live with it though.
pensions are bad i guess.

lol we used to have NHS style Healthcare, but since we discovered that we are not going to be able to afford that, they changed the Medicare scheme.

Pension are actually not bad, if you have a family, you can easily goes up to 3 to 4 thousands a month for doing nothing, Since everyone pay the same, it does not matter if you are a 12 years old student, or a 30 years old job seeker, or a 45 years old single mother.

i guess i may have to look at canada or new zealand instead. shame i could have purchased a sh!t load of land in the outback.

Been to both, not very recommended. I once actually considering to migrate to Canada, back then when they have a lax migration system, but since then I have reconsidered my plans, there aren't anything good going on in Canada, the only reason why people want to go to Canada is to gain a way to the US. And since I am already a US Citizen, I don't need to do that. I don't know about software engineering in Canada tho, maybe you have better luck in Canada than me......

New Zealand have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Unless you want to retire, NZ would not be a good place for live and work. I however maintain residence in NZ tho, but simply because of the gun law in NZ.........Australia is very tight with guns, even airsoft. Basically it is easier to get a Licensed Handgun in Oz than an Airsoft, it is simply not allowed. Many Ozzie go to NZ for Airsoft Tourism....It may seems strange to you tho..

And lol about outback...You need to be really tough to be a outback jack in Australia, almost EVERYTHING in the outback can kill you and basically if anything went wrong, the nearest hospital is 3 hours away, so every little thing will kill you out there, and you are talking to a guy who served in the armed force, went to war and been working Military Intelligence and have went to Ranger School.....

DONT SAY THAT !!

lol, so winter is not coming

well we fuked up alot of places so im not suprised the hate is there. but i have been there and i have had no problems.
gibaltar is a disputed island with spain so to bring them in they are integral same applies with the falklands but i dont think they voted in the referendum. hk is a part of china. or one country two systems.

the uk tax rate is high and the same applies to austrailia but over here i think its higher mainly due to the torie w@nkers

lol we used to have NHS style Healthcare, but since we discovered that we are not going to be able to afford that, they changed the Medicare scheme.
yeah we were "told" we would save £350 million a week if we leaft the eu and would put that money in the nhs. but what happens.... oops we shouldn't have said that.

nz is very green and calm so i dont mind retireing there. gun laws here are tight. hand guns and semi/automatic rifels are banned. but you an get a hand gun in northern ireland for protection which can easily be smuggled here via ferry. air guns can bepurchased by anyone over 18. the guy at the counter can refuse to sell it you if they feel you not cabale of having one or are suspicious. remember with an airgun and the right bullet and distance you can kill. but they are restricted by power to 12 lb of force.

normal guns you need a reason why you need a gun. the poice visit your house to see if everything is in order and if you have a secure gun safe. on your gun application you need to tell them what gun you want and where you intend to buy it from.
farmers can easily get a gun to shoot foxes, bagers, hares, ets, oh and your only allowed shotguns and standard rifals
for every one. specail permits can be issued for marksmen who shoot larger animals who cause trouble on the road.
also vets can have handguns to dispatch horses who are in to much pain but again you need a specailist licence for that and not many vets hold that licence. so other vets euthanise them instead.

Yeah, most people are like that, my wife is academically bright, she had a JD in law and a PhD in International Relation. But she is also dumb as a rock.......She is the kind of person who will open a e-mail and enter her own detail without checking what was that e-mail is for, and once we got rob living in Sydney, she lost the wallet and purse, and she rang the copper and did not tell the police she lost her ATM card......The bank actually send us a e-mail a month afterward and told us there were some suspected transaction on her card lol........

But work wise she is quite good, back when I was working MI, I have to visit the local detaining center regularly and she was always there for the sake of Legal Advice to the detainee. I cross path with her several occasion, and I think she is very good at her job.

But then about the salute part, nothing sexier than to have to salute your woman in the morning (Jack Nicolson said that on A Few Good Men) And I only took charge 2 occasions before and after marriage, once when our camp was attacked in Afghanistan, the other is when we bought our family car.......

lol, I understand the British stance on the issue, but still most people in Hong Kong may not agree on it......And that would be the problem, it make total sense for the UK to enact law to deal with the Hong Kong situation, but that did mean nothing to the people in Hong Kong....

so it best for me sell up and find a job in the land of oz then bring my business there. i dont think thats a good idea. i worked to hard to let it go.

Actually depends on whether or not you want to go all the way, you can move your business in Oz if you just want to do business in Oz and not getting Citizenship. But if you want to go all the way, then maybe Oz is not for you.

the uk tax rate is high and the same applies to austrailia but over here i think its higher mainly due to the torie w@nkers

When you come up to an aussie chick barely out of 20s and have 5 kids, you would know what is going on.....Once there were this tosser go on national TV and complaint about not enough allowance for her and her 4 children, even tho the government pays her 4 and a half grand a months. Any sort of medical scheme cost money, the problem is the brits are complaining giving NHS to foreigner from EU, out here, we complain about our own people abusing the medicare.......

Even if the 350 mil figure is correct, which as you pointed out it most likely not, leaving EU does not means they would inject all those money back to NHS, you would be lucky if a portion of that goes to NHS.

im single (not for long) and under 30 s pensions are not a problem.

If only more Australia think like you, most people get the dole out of high school, these "GAP ME/PEOPLE" would just have sit on their bum and do nothing other than go out to the pub and drink or do drugs.........

And congrat on getting married

canada is kinda like a gateway to the usa which attracts me there mind you oz is probably worse than canada

Yeah, most people look at Canada as the gateway of America, but then what I don't understand is why they don't go to America directly, it's a lot easier to get to America than Canada. Australia is a dead end. It open roads to nowhere.

nz is very green and calm so i dont mind retireing there. gun laws here are tight. hand guns and semi/automatic rifels are banned. but you an get a hand gun in northern ireland for protection which can easily be smuggled here via ferry. air guns can bepurchased by anyone over 18. the guy at the counter can refuse to sell it you if they feel you not cabale of having one or are suspicious. remember with an airgun and the right bullet and distance you can kill. but they are restricted by power to 12 lb of force.

NZ is good and scenic, it makes a good choice for tour and retirement, money last longer in NZ than Oz. NZ also very cultural and I would have to say it show more pacific culture than in Australia, which is more westernized than NZ.

About Gun Law.......NZ have a similar gun law than in Australia, but different in the type of weapon you can buy in Oz and in NZ. NZ allow semi-automatic rifle ownership lower than 10 rounds which would be type A weapon in NZ, which means you can own for sport shooting, Semi-Auto rifle in any chamber configuration is forbidden/restricted firearms in Australia, unless you are primary producer, gun smith, dealer or professional pest control, you are not allow to shoot semi-auto rifle in sport shooting.

NZ allow semi-automatic airsoft that looks like real weapon, much like everywhere else. In Australia, Airsoft was dealt with as the same requirement as their correspondent real life rifle. Hence a M4 airsoft toy gun would be treated as a M4 5.56 Rifle in Australia Law. so you will need a firearm license to obtain and own an airsoft weapon. While it is possible theoretically to import an airsoft toy to Australia, however, since almost all airsoft have either internal/detachable magazine more than 10 rounds, that means a D License is require for every Airsoft Ownership, and a D-License is reserved for Primary Producer, Gun Smith, Dealer and Professional Pest Control, and another law actually outlaw mil-sim type activities in most state, So, even it is technically possible to import airsoft in Australia, it have no way one can own an Airsoft weapon in any sort for whatever reason.

Pistol is extremely easy to get in Australia, all you need is to pay 400 bucks a year to a gun club, pass the background check and wait 1 year and shoot 6 times a year, then you can own your own pistol, but Australian law require pistol can only carry 10 rounds in their mag, and cannot be smaller than 30 inches.

MI = Military Intelligence........

its a bit late to meddle with hk now, the chinese wont be to happy with us and now were leaving. we need them.

lol, that is the reason why the people in Hong Kong hate the Brits

guess your right. china could be good im learning chinese what do you think?

I think unless you have connection, China is a tough place to crack, I had some friend that went back to China and invest, some of them doing pretty well, but the other not so well, my mother actually loses 5 million HKD when the Chinese first open their door in 1990s. So, I guess it quite depends.

Oh well.......we just can't keep kicking these people from the backside. But try to look at the bright side of this problem, there is a inappropriate joke that say these whisky tango is what saving us from the Muslim, they are the only group currently in Australia that out birth the muslim at this moment.........

But seems like we pay a high price for this joke, notice that by we, I mean tax payer...

they just talked out of their @$$ and just threw in big numbers to scare people
oh and health tourism is not a myth, its true that i can say.

Yeah, that how politics works, they are either resort to scare tactics or empty promises. Election is more like how to make your opponent looks darker and worse then to highlight your good.

I guess medical tourism is happening everywhere, either you have a good medical science and well developed medical industry, or you have your medical service dirt cheap, this happens all over the world, it happened to Hong Kong during the 2000s and it happened to Canada now.

thanks i guess. i wont be suprised if most people dont even read the news. the only thing they know is that all muslims are terrorist and evil which is false thanks to the famed aussie media. meh, I can only say most people don't care......Aussie majority are laid back and carefree people, Chinese or Indonesia can invade tomorrow and they would still have done nothing. Most of them are too lazy for their own good.

Don't forget, we are a nation that actually go and fight a war with the emu, and we lost........

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_War

thanks

i dont like the usa but i would like to be close to it so canada is a great option but i cant be asked moving only when things turn ugly is when i will move.

I don't think people living in the United States like the US, most of them don't, hence we have a very fluctuated government in the US, most people only ever do care how to make it in the US, the American don't worship their government, they worship the money

i know it nice i kinda reminds me of the lake district but with great ocean views and more sun. its a hidden destination and i would prefer it remained hidden.

Sun and sheep, and yes, New Zealand will give you that lord of the ring feel, where you really think you are in the middle earth, that is the kind of view you can't find anywhere. That's the main reason why the lord of the ring actually did film in New Zealand.

so its easier to get an hand gun then an airgun !
wheres the logic in that!

as for the uk time will tell where our future lies. heck in the possibility the eu crashes we may have did somthing good even though it was unintentional. but in the end we messed up.

yes, it's strange ain't it? I can get a hand gun one year from today if I go to a local gun club and register as a member, but there are literally no way one can get their hand on a air pistol.

There are no logic behind this, it's just some crazy policy that nobody seems to care from the Howard Era.

As I said, EU is going to suffer some draw back after exit, no way to know how extensive there were and what kind of damage we are looking at, but I do think about it like this, first, there are always ways to get out of any kind of trouble, and second, this is going to be a tough road ahead. you can just look at how many people regret voting leave, as I said, people only care about stuff when it touches them, and mostly they have no idea what was going on around them, and this result is the prime example on how this issue can turn into disaster .

it depends on the muslim though. you can have a conservitive who covers up compleatly or you can have the one who wears a scarf or theres the one who blends in. austrailia being where it is i would say theres alot of indoneasians and malaysians. indonesia is a good place muslims there are standard. you wont find many covered up compleatly. muslims here are alright considering they came in the 60's and are "westernised" you do find the more conservitive families wearing their traditional lothing but you find out they have not been here very long about 10 years
over here is eastern europeans poping out kids left right and centre, but now......... in my nearest town 19 eastern european families left from now till after announcing to leave the eu

Yeah, that how politics works, they are either resort to scare tactics or empty promises. Election is more like how to make your opponent looks darker and worse then to highlight your good.
.
they will say anything jus to get your vote and then once eleted they will fall on it and just before re-election they will make flares on doing them or do some good stuff. like sugar tax

I guess medical tourism is happening everywhere, either you have a good medical science and well developed medical industry, or you have your medical service dirt cheap, this happens all over the world, it happened to Hong Kong during the 2000s and it happened to Canada now.
.
thats now the norm but they dont have a health care system like the nhs which is why we were hit hard and some news platforms are milking the news of migrants are ruining the nhs.
meh, I can only say most people don't care......Aussie majority are laid back and carefree people, Chinese or Indonesia can invade tomorrow and they would still have done nothing. Most of them are too lazy for their own good.
.
so your not all right wing nut tards it just the media giving us the impression you are.
ok hypothetical scenario..... a muslim couple aged 50 ladies covered up and man wearing tratitional clothing waling in to the shopping centre (mall) in sydney would they get any type of abuse.

Don't forget, we are a nation that actually go and fight a war with the emu, and we lost........

I don't think people living in the United States like the US, most of them don't, hence we have a very fluctuated government in the US, most people only ever do care how to make it in the US, the American don't worship their government, they worship the money
.
thats true

Sun and sheep, and yes, New Zealand will give you that lord of the ring feel, where you really think you are in the middle earth, that is the kind of view you can't find anywhere. That's the main reason why the lord of the ring actually did film in New Zealand.
.
would you be shocked to hear i have never watched lord of the rings. only the hobbit which was really good.
yeah so nz is perfect then

yes, it's strange ain't it? I can get a hand gun one year from today if I go to a local gun club and register as a member, but there are literally no way one can get their hand on a air pistol.

There are no logic behind this, it's just some crazy policy that nobody seems to care from the Howard Era.
.
does austrailia have a large gun lobby like the nra?

As I said, EU is going to suffer some draw back after exit, no way to know how extensive there were and what kind of damage we are looking at, but I do think about it like this, first, there are always ways to get out of any kind of trouble, and second, this is going to be a tough road ahead. you can just look at how many people regret voting leave, as I said, people only care about stuff when it touches them, and mostly they have no idea what was going on around them, and this result is the prime example on how this issue can turn into disaster .
over 3 million signatures calling for a re-vote
