Nice article about Xi Jinping

Stannis approves! :enjoy: ...I am still going to kill you and your bastard, though.

T.V series Stannis is a loser. A good man (I still rooted for him after he burned his daughter) but a loser.

The Stannis in the books is made of sterner stuff and will probably kill Roose Bolton and Ramsay the piece of shit.

There is only one King and his name is STANNIS!

Chairman Xi go to mountain and village during cultural revolution. Mao has a certain romanticism and believe that elites need to suffer in order to be close to people and to stop behaving arrogantly.

Cultural Revolution, while bad, is being use as a tool to put millions of city kids to village.

The city kids that were sent into the countryside were later termed 'sent down youths'.

The cultural revolution was full of crazy shit and one way to get rid of the young red guards was to send the crazy youths into the countryside. The funny thing is that the kids couldnt wait to go and cheered, smiled and laughed as they boarded the buses into the countryside.

Little did they anticipate the hardship that was to come in the countryside. No fcuking around in rural China. Wake up before dawn and work until sunset.

.
His old professor said that they argued a lot, his first wife wanted them to move to the U.K and Xi wanted to stay in China.
Wow ... Xi is really a winner in life, become the powerful man and marry a beautiful wife. 30 years ago he did a right choice to stay in China, or he would be a normal overseas Chinese.

Totally bro, TV series Stannis was portrayed like some blind power-hungry fool who was being enchanted by that red witch, while in the books, he was way more independent and reasonable than the man they made him out to be on TV.

“Robert was the true steel. Stannis is pure iron, black and hard and strong, yes, but brittle, the way iron gets. He'll break before he bends. And Renly, that one, he's copper, bright and shiny, pretty to look at but not worth all that much at the end of the day.”

One thing they did get right was his bravery and stubborness as a soldier. Always the first to get into the fray, and the last one to get out. I would gladly bend the knee to a just King like him!

I always rooted for Stannis because he is usually the underdog with only two things going for him - his red priestess and his onion knight. Red priestess has power but usually fcuks him up whereas the onion knight always steers him true.

Donal Noye might compare Robert to steel but I reckon that Stannis is the better of the two. Its just that everybody hates Stannis that makes him unfavorable. Forget about Renly, he is tin foil.

Lets toast Stannis with a delicious cup of water and maybe a pinch of salt.

I know right? Starving, while holding on the ancestral seat of Storm's End during the Siege, while Robert was on a ''glorious'' conquest in the south. Even after Robert's rebellion, he (and Jon Arryn) was doing all the work, while his older brother was partying and whoring like there was no tomorrow.

Cheers mate! Oh... and can I have some ''smoking'' cold ice with my ''salty'' cup of water? ;)

No bro, China is better for opportunity to become president.

Have you seen his current wife or hear her singing voice?

Much better than dreary weather, fish n chips and shrew of a wife.

Ahahahahahha.....funny one.:lol::enjoy:

well my friend, if she was so low class, do you think your current president would have married her in the first place? I guess no. She must have good taste or its your president that doesnt have good taste(going for her in the first place.lol)

By the way, why did your high class patriotic peng liyuan decide to send her only daughter to study in the U.S of all places? Thought China had outstanding universities like Tsinghua? Or she doesnt trust her own countrys educational system?

Personally, (and im not bashing China), i think its very discouraging when a whole head of state of all people decides to send his only child to study in a foreign country. Reminds me of african leaders who dont trust their own Uni/educational system. Its definitely not a vote of confidence for your own country . Others can do it and it might still be a little bit understandable. But a head of state?? Hmmmmm........:undecided::china::welcome::usflag:

Have you completed Season 5 yet? That said I've got other things to worry about which could jeopardise my rule in the North. :D

As an avid fan of GoT, the only thing I will never forgive Stannis (the Mannis :partay:) for doing is Renly's murder.

Otherwise he's a badass character in the series though I doubt that he would be a popular king. In that regard I'd much rather grant Renly the Iron Throne. Nonetheless I wish Stannis would've won the Battle of Blackwater Bay and put the heads of the Lannister children born of incest on spikes. All the other Lannisters and their bannermen (like the Hound) can perish as well for all I care but Sansa and Tyrion should've escaped miraculously out of King's Landing in that case.

I see what your saying and I agree. But It is also important for Chinese to go abroad and get an experience of foreign countries to learn and to bring back their new found wisdom.

Zhou Enlai went to Europe to study, Deng labored in France for years and I think Jiang Zemin stayed in Russia for a time. Xi didnt stay overseas but his Iowa trip did have a profound impact on him when he of a lowly official.

:o:

Except for Joffrey and Cersei, the Lannisters arent so bad. Jaime is a perverted dcikhead but he isnt a bad guy, just kinda impressionable. When he hangs around his sister he becomes a bastard but when he hangs around Briene of Tarth he follows her lead and becomes a good guy. Old man Tywin is just playing power games.

Renly and his 'knights of summer' wont last a week of winter with him on the throne. I only regret that shadow Stannis didnt kill him as well as all witnesses.

Also, did you notice that they didnt show Stannis die? I really hope that he is still alive. I also hope that Ramsay the piece of shit kills Roose Bolton to take his place as warden of the North. Then Ramsay almost dies after Briene chops his dcik off with a rolling pin and chucks him cartwheeling off the walls of Winterfell. Finally he dies after trying to put his dcik back on in the freezing snow.

You sure do! I saw that your bastard Ramsey wasn't all too fond from the news of your newborn, last time. Might wanna keep an eye on him and keep him in line. You might never know what he might do next to get rid of his bastard stigma while satisfying his usual bloodlust. Oh... and you might also want to worry about the undead who might soon crash your party in the North. Of course I have watched season 5! However, knowing George R.R. Martin, nothing can be concluded yet from that cliffhanger from the last episode. Either Stannis survives because of reasons, or that inconclusive end was just a major c*cktease from GRRM's side, only for him to c*ckblock Mannis fans big time by showing Stannis' severed head in the next season or something. lol Anyhow, the Boltons might have won the battle of Winterfell, but the war is far from over.

Ahhh yes, speaking of which! The sudden arrival of Tywin's forces to come to save the day was a major asspull! It is also for this reason why I don't yet believe that Brienne has actually killed Stannis. XD

And to admit, Roose Bolton is a pretty cool guy. A very witted and calculative man, always keeping his cool (Almost KGB-like cool as Putin XD ). However, your bastard son is a loose cannon who might, one day, even bite the hand that feeds him. And in hindsight, you didn't even need to betray Robb Stark if he wasn't such a naïve fool who instead of following his father's orders, decided to declare himself King in the North with the anticipation of a ''glorious'' conquest towards the South. And to come to think of it, he ignored a lot of your good advice as well! So yeah, the Red Wedding was kind of deserved. Reason why I choose Stannis over Roose Bolton after the Red Wedding, was because you have (somewhat of) a non-aggression pact with the Lannisters at this moment. If you were, like Stannis, to also march South and kill some Lannisters on the way, I would be rooting for you as well in spite of your sadistic bastard son! XD

Oh and don't forget Lancel Lannister! That little sh*t just pisses me off so much! Talking shit from his high horse about the Northern men being cannibals and whatnot after Ned's demise, but only after spending most of his life being Robert's personal punchbag! ...And now he has become the pawn and punchbag of some religious nutheads! It's laughable!

Yeah, Renly mentioned to Stannis that he wouldn't become king because he didn't had many ''friends''. I assume that he was talking about powerful allies who would help him getting into power. But for this same reason, I believe that Renly would not have become a good king as well. Because these powerful ''friends'' will be expecting something in return at some point, while at the same time, these same powerful allies might become powerful enemies overnight. It would take a lot of effort for a new king to maintain the support of his ''friends''. Effort that could otherwise be invested in governance. And being too dependable on too many ''friends'', will even effectively turn you into a corrupt puppet.

I actually thought the same about Roose Bolton when I first saw the Red Wedding. But in hindsight, his betrayal became more reasonable. I already knew that he was annoyed by Robb Stark's naivety and his string of bad decisions, but I think that the execution of Rickard Karstark and his inability to secure an alliance with the Freys were the final straws for Bolton, in which he now realized that he was fighting for the losing side. The execution of Rickard Karstark, because Robb subsequently lost the support of some 30.000 Karstark troops after executing the head of their house. And Walder Frey? You know... Robb tried to cheat himself out of his promise to marry Roslin Frey, because he already had his foreign honeypot, and also because he anticipated that she would be ugly like the other Frey sisters, only to find out that Roslin was ten times prettier than his own Braavosi darling. So yes, Roose Bolton was only searching for a way to safeguard his own house and not to go down with the sinking ship Robb was finding himself into regardless.

With that having said, Ramsey Bolton is one crazy sadistic son of a b#%@. I wish the worst upon him!
