Next Door Nepal — China is welcome, India is not

China should heavily invest in Nepal, so Nepal should never be dependent on supa powa India.. same is needed in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan..

Definitely, Nepal is important neighbor for China, they help China a lot for deterring those "Free Tibet" movement there. Economically It's also a market for China.

people of the region are fed up with India.. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka also dont like Indian involvement, China must concentrate on them as well. China is already largest trade and defense partner of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.. China should help overcome their fear of India.. @asad71 China can also help in close Pakistan and Bangladesh ties.. just like Pakistan bring China and US close in 70's..

India is already suspicious about the fictive Pearl string and accuse China evil intention to encircle India, now with Nepal, India will claim that China is placing a collar on India's neck:p:. I don't think China want to upset India, we have done nothing to stir up trouble between India and Nepal, all these bad mood of Nepal was created by India.

i dont want you to harm India or its interests :p:. what i want is freedom for small countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Maldievs, Sri Lanka,BD so no one can bully them like India was doing with Nepal. they should have an alternate..

Yet Nepal relays mostly on Indian goods , the Chinese can keep day dreaming for all i care .

Unless like India if China is willing to equivalent 1 nepalii rupee = 1 Chinese yen , with heavy subsidising , the trade ratio will never shift in China's favor .

China is not dreaming, in fact we don't even expect that Nepal made the "U" turn on India, but your government has embarrass Nepalese government enough and force them to look for alternative...should China thanks India or if you reap what you sow?.
