Yes, NZ has less population, less than 5 M. Don't you think that due to less population and smaller size of the city of Christchurch, Police should have been on the scene far quicker!! Also consider the traffic, it doesn't have the traffic problem like London does. Secondly, the first Mosque was inside the city center. Every fact is pointing to very slow response.
Don't worry I many weekends have seen Police buzzing around South Yorkshire and attending little incidents in Sheffield, Rotheram, Doncaster etc. within minutes. Far far less important incidents.

So, how long it would take South Yorkshire police to response to a serious incident after receiving 999 call, lets say a GBH, a rumble outside a club!!
And I have a family resident inside the city center of Sheffield. I have seen incidents when police is there in a jiffy.
