What's new

New York city on Hijab

again anything can be used for criminal activities not just burqa

You assume too much and so many Ifs there. Why majority of people will start wearing burqa if we dont see them wearing it now even in countries where burqa is permitted .. I was asking statistics of crimes which people committed after wearing burqa or where burqa was used for criminal activities in countries like saudia, pakistan, afgnaitsan, india or in western countries ..I think the girls in pics are wearing burqa/niqab but still you can guess that they are girls even from a distance..

it was just one if not too many ifs.. i am talking about any cloth/device that covers face not only burqa...
there has been cases of stealing jewellery while wearning face veil...

I dont have any statistics ... do you need to have a statistics to know wearing balaclava regularly is not really a good idea.
About girls being easy to recognize from distance.. thats not the point... point is criminal can melt into a crowd within a few minutes... and you wont easily know.

yeah didn't realize you can't have that anyways

probably hindu ::lol:
more like you cant have.... :cheesy:

well.. in india its not really unknown for hijabi to run away with guys who sometimes happen to be hindus... many just wear to hide their secret affairs... its a good device to spread love.. lolz

I dont care if I see your hand or not.. but in some of the areas I have lived I would prefer to see faces of people that go about... at least the camera should be able to recognize them if they decide to stab me.

You will probably be stabbed by non face covering person, don't worry. :D

What if they get you from behind? :D
did not think about that .. i am thinking of a normal mugging situation or a situation in which I enter into a fight and end up being stabbed.... not stabbed by some psycho from behind ..:cheesy:

You planning on getting mugged or in a fight with hijab girl? :woot:

Thats how it happens round here they stab from behind and then rob.

well girls are girls, doesn't matter muslim, hindu etc... they will run away with guys, hindu girls do the same with muslim guys

but yeah it's not a good idea for a hindu guy to be particularly to be seen with a hijabi or a burkha wearing girl, not good for your safety

am not planning..... but thinking of a situation in which somebody can use a face covering to commit a crime and melt away in public... :cheesy:

what they stab you from behind first? whats the need, if the guy/girl is willing to give money.

Well people here are crazy but it doesn't happen like that all the time, it happened to someone I use to go to school with though.

you are the one who said its not possible... not me... :cheesy:
thanks for your concern... its not safe for a muslim guy to live in christian country but we all like to live on edge..

well comparatively here muggers are decent then. they will jump on you and beat you black and blue if you dont hand over the wallet... stabbing is the extreme case...

it's possible, but very highly unlikely, I mean she has to be a desperate hijabi/burkhawali to date a hindu guy. Other secular type muslims girls probably do date hindu guys, but I have my doubts on hijabi/Burkhawalis dating hindus guys, probably less then 1% may do

Criminal can also use helmet, ninja masks, Halloween masks , face painting etc and can melt in crowd within few minutes. Your argument is entirely speculative. Its not your God gifted right to see the face of women and women also have this right to not show their faces to you if they prefer this way. Those people who force women to take off their burqa are as bad as those who force them to wear it as both of them are taking away the right of women to choose for themselves how they wish to dress.

There are also different ways to verify identity but claiming public safety as a reason to force women not to dress as they choose in public seems utterly specious. I was asking for documented example of harm coming to a third party because of a woman wearing a burqa or ratio of crimes where criminal committed these crimes by using Burqa

was it not you who said one should not presume burqawali are like xyz.. many wear out of tradition, not due to deep belief or conservatism as such..
I have not seen a single secular muslim girl so cant comment.. may be you are talking about rich girls.

Anyway.. you seem to be in lot of pain in knowing such cases happen, but yet gleefully say you have dated hindu girl, are girls some kind of trophy to be won?

uff you are thinking too far, I never said to force women to take off their veil and I perfectly understand and support one's right to choose own cloths.
I am against it thats all, am not in favour of any force being used, or legislation to force them.

You cant melt into a crowd by wearing such masks.. a member of public will probably see you doing so. As most wont be wearing it will be easy to catch you.
