Nah.. people should get DCS, get that one full sim for whatever aircraft you fancy and spend the rest of your life learning and having fun with.

but to each, their own.. arcadey ones offer their own type of fun, srs "study sims" ones have their own distinct charm.

Both War thunder and DCS are free, but unlike DCS, war thunder does not require you to spend some £60 for each aircraft you want to fly.

The free stuff in the DCS no charge download (which is an amazing thing in itself) is great but there are no proper "study sims" there no matter how difficult/realistic you try and make it.

Those would be them 100$ "modules", as they call them.

On a real level, even DCS with its add-ons remains a "game" with people just guessing weapons ranges etc but my point was that it is sooo much fun for rando enthusiasts
