New test of Sarmat missle

It's peculiar to see Russia & China pursuing heavyweight, liquid-fueled missiles in the modern age of improved airpower and early detection.

It does not matter - missles in Siberia are thousands miles away from nearest interceptors. They can not intecept them on early fly stages.

I'm not referring to BM interceptors but rather forward-deployed air assets that are designed to locate & attack missile sites during periods of crisis. The next-generation B-21 and its air-to-air PCA (Penetrating Counter-Air) counterpart are designed to do exactly that.

Exactly for that we will have S-500, S-600 and so on.

Air defense missiles can only do so much in the face of low-observable aircraft and electronic countermeasures. Having a missile capable of launching on very short notice and being in storage of years is a significant leg up.

And Pakistanis are busy in finding excuses for their corrupt civil and military leaders for not restarting work on Taimur
