New Pakistani PM Orders Judges Detained by Musharraf Released

I just hope a proper inquiry is set up to investigate the lal masjid massacre.
I am pretty sure mushy will be charged with mass murder if this happens.

What mass murder what inquiry?
Those clerks are guilty of what took place inside the Lal Masjid. I mean they had a week to surrender but they didn't. They challenged the states writ and anyone doing that should and will be eliminated. I remember watching this unfortunate incident on tv. I mean at first they said they will not surrender, but when the Army started its operation all of them were willing to surrender. If they believed that they were waging Jihad then why didn't they fight till the end. The fact is they were cowards. Who hid behind women and children. And the way our media cover such act of terrorism is really sad. I mean they show the face a 9 year old sucide bomber and it sadens me when I look at the kids face and I see that he has the prayer mark on his forehead.

.
Total humiliation for mushy........the guy he had locked up becomes PM and the judge he put under house arrest is free.
Two more nalils into the coffin of mushy's dictatorship.

ZArdari was locked up by N.Sharif. Does this means he is also humiliated?

People wont uderstand your point because we have a short term memory. The same people who the people kiced out and cursed less then 10 years ago are now welcomed. What is wrong with us. The same thieves who dispised eachother now sit together and hug.
Lets be realistic here the PPP and the PML-N and the other oppostion parties have nothing incommon except their dislike for President Musharraf. They have no sympathy for the people, they could care less if the media was free, they dont want an independent media, they dont care who gets killed in FATA or Baluchistan, they just want to do the opposite of what President Musharraf has done. And this is nothing new all governments have done this critize the ruling party over everything even if it is something new they will always claim they can do some thing better.

I agree D1. Gen M seems to be headed here (UK) or the USA or Saudi A within 6 months. However I admire that guy for what he did for Pakistan for the first 6 years he was in power. Would not mind playing a game of tennis with him if he comes here.

Regards

If your so sure of the events that took place in lal masjid, then you should no problem with an inquiry.......it will just prove all your points correct and me wrong........

I totally agree with all your observations but tell me one thing ,which do you think would have made a better pakistan.....50/60 years of representative govt or a military gov for 50/60 years.?
I think a mix of the two has not worked for pakistan....thats what we have had since independence.

You may not agree but i really do believe that real elections over a few decades will make the people more likely to vote for good people.

I reach this conclusion on personal experience,my own family are from the pakistani province of azad kashmir.........we may not be a proper province in pakistan at the moment ,but allah willing it will happen soon......my family/village kept voting for the same person they had voted for from the very first elections in AJK election.......he did nothing for anyone.
In the last 2-3 elections everybody switched from MC to PPP.
The new MLA was fully aware that if no projects where carried out he would not be voted in again.
The guy has sorted all the major problems of the people...water,electricity,roads,schools,hospitals,phoneline,health clinics ect.
Yes fair enough it took them 20 odd years to reach to the point where thet understood the political game......but they did get there there at the end.:pakistan:

no i dont think so..........If N.Sharif was president and he had put Zardari in prison and then had to release him and anoint him PM then yes...i would agree with you.

My personal opinion is first we need a new Constitution. We need a Presidential system of government becuase a Parliamentary system has not worked for us. In my opinion what needs to happen now is we must have atleast 20 years of strict Martial Law under the Army. This will stablize the country in every aspect and then slowly start the transferr of power. We must follow the example of South Korea, which I dont want to discuss but people should read into it. As far as a decade of democracy is concerned we have tried it three time, in the 1950s, in the 1970s and the 1990s all of them failures.
As far as your personal or family history is concerned I like to read about them but wont comment because they are your personal matter and I have no right to interferr in your personal matter or opinion. I just shared my opinion and you shared yours I have surely learned from you and I am sure you must of also picked up something from my comments.
