New projects planned for Galiyat by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa includes water supply schemes for Thandiani, Changla Gali, Ayubia, Khanaspur, outsourcing of state-owned rest houses, installing camping pods at Changla Gali and Khanaspur, establishing parks at Changla Gali, Khaira Gali and Ayubia.
Besides these, 53 sites will be auctioned in February for installation of modernise cabins.
Moreover, GDA served notices to the owners of multi-storey buildings who have violated building by-laws and strict action will be taken soon. Operation will be initiated against billboards.
For enhancing the natural and physical environment of Galiyat, and for promulgation the National Clean and Green Campaign launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan, GDA will start plantation drive. More than 200 new dustbins will be installed at different locations of Galiyat.
