The State Bank of Pakistan granted an in-principle approval to NayaPay to operate as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Pakistan, a press release issued by the company said on Monday.

The approval will enable the company to "commence pilot phase of transactions in a controlled environment and under the SBP’s supervision to seek approval for the commercial launch of its services", according to the press release.

With NayaPay, customers will be able to open e-money accounts as well as carry out "hassle-free" digital transactions. Users will also be able to withdraw cash through the NayaPay app and the associated debit card, which will be acceptable at any ATM, as well as pay bills. Customers will also be able to transfer money through mobile by using a secure EMVCo. QR code.

"NayaPay places great emphasis on customer convenience and has partnered with leading banks and other aggregators to facilitate users with multiple avenues for cash withdrawal, loading and bill payment," the press statement read.

"E-Money will make financial services simpler, more convenient and accessible to the Pakistani user — the needs of whom have been overlooked for far too long," NayaPay Chief Executive Officer Danish A. Lakhani was quoted as saying by the press release. "As a home-grown platform, NayaPay will continue to drive innovation and iterate to best address specific pain points of local users and businesses while strictly following international AML and CFT guidelines."

Sada Pay seems to be just another Visa credit card not a digital payment gateway ...

Support Crypto-Currency and break away from the shackles of conventional banking.

2CO is not good as PayPal,
and top and popular merchants sites belongs US, EU,
and who mostly support PayPal and after paypal other 2nd most popular method is BTC
No it's not 2checkout is as famous as Paypal infact 2checkout accepts more debit, credit cards than PAYPAL. Don't know where you have learn that 2nd most popular is BTC. 2checkout is indeed best alternative for PAYPAL.

Cryptocurrency is Good but a Country cant just Switch whole thing and in this age no country can truly be independent?
Few problems If Pakistan just switches to crypto how many countries will trade back with that.
How many people in Pakistan have banks let alone e wallets.
Other issue if Pakistan just uses a specific crypto currency how will You value goods if they use a specific country e.g Dollar or Yen they are still dependent on dollar.
A Robost , Safe & Instant Transfer system from small shop to biggest store all supporting that which i dont see happening any time soon.
The Only Reasonable option i see Cancel all notes above Hundred and go cash less Just Simply go with that it will be cheaper and quicker than going for system which is already out dated

I like NeyaPay and it relates with the theme of NeyaPakistan.
