According to Department of Public Health in Beijing, there is only 1 new case in Beijing reported in July 1 2020, and the trend is well down with less than 8 news cases each day for the recent 5 days.
Together there are totally 329 active cases and 28 healthy virus carriers in hospitals.
So basically Beijing successfully keep the new outbreak undercontrol, thanks to the advanced technologies employed, like telecom as well as big data, which enabling Beijing government locate and isolate almost half a million people that has exposed the risk before.
As a local Beijinger, I know this first handed: one Taxi driver told me that they refused to take orders from Xinfadi market since the technology is so advanced, as long as they take one person there into their car, about 30-60mins later there will be a phone call from Authority which order him to stay isolated for 14 days, as well as test for COVID-19 in the mean time.
That's the power of technologies.
And that's why China can reduce the R0 of this highly infective virus to less than 1 very quickly.
