Never mind Balakot, IAF is worse off than Pakistan Air Force on pilot strength

70% availability is first world standard

Again you are comparing USAF with your low level IAF..

USAF even if operating at 25% is enough to address the threats.. you are not even enough if you are operating at 99%. Your foes are Pakistan and China..

a weak adversary like Pakistan.

Fantashtik..

BS made up numbers by you. We have over 3000 pilots in IAF.

We operate 9 full fledged AF ranges compared to 4 in Pakistan.

Lying... Lying... Lying.

1:0.81 ratio in 2015. Now give me a source for your numbers.

And of those 9, none of them can be used for high caliber bombing training; 2 at most from what I have heard.

First you lied about ratios in USAF and Israeli AF. Now about Indian Air Force too to save its face.

What this article conveniently misses is even if we consider a pilot ratio of 1.5 per fighter aircraft, we wouldn't be using our full squadron strength against a weak adversary like Pakistan. Come at me ya Balakot fanboys!

Funny, Pakistan so weak yet you guys can't do shit except cry at international forums :sarcastic:

Yes , we are weak.
Plz dare to take Kashmir then and tell you all weather friend to take Arunachal Pardesh.

Being weak is relative, you are militarily stronger than say Bangladesh or Tajikistan but when compared to India, a country with more than four times the landmass and plentiful in resources too, it is only natural that you are weaker than us in conventional terms. Sorry that i couldn't sugarcoat my words in any other way, facts remain as such.

the IAF is at a ratio of 1.5. The IAF also has issues with squadron strength and target practice.

1.5. ratio for IAF, pilot to aircraft is increasing exponentially with the crashing of the IAF fighter planes every other day, turning into twisted metal...provided the IAF pilots ejects safely, they are good at ejecting at the first sign of any danger...have to give it to them.

So IAF pilots are very smart...they are crashing their old/new jets to increase the pilot to plane ratio...and to get new Rafaels as well.

Anil Ambani is relieved and happy now...

Old news from 2015.
This 2017 official report proved zero pilot shortage

Pakistan does not have any high altitude ranges either.

Fact also remains IAF got a beating on 27th, and India can't do anything about Pakistan.

High caliber bombing ranges does not equate to high altitude.

IAF does not need a personal high calibre range since Army's Pokhran test range (largest range in South Asia) can test the highest calibre bombs if needed.

USAF has 5000 fighter pilots and about 2000 fighter jets. That's not the same ratio
Another fail.
USAF has 2700 pilots and around 1900 fighter jets. They have a 25% shortage.
