Not every bullet is a tracer. You can vary the ratio e.g. 1 tracer after every 10 bullets, 5, may be 20. Or if you are in the mood of screwing up tax payers' money, you can separate the tracers and then load 'em up in one linker and have fun .

Same, they are not sold separately (in case of G3, MG etc). A particular number of tracers are there in every box. Ammo of heavy guns like 12.7 mm or 14.5 mm have separate boxes for tracers.
