After the war Syria should change their political system and adopt the Jamahiriya direct democracy system that governed Libya before 2011 and which is the system that Venezuela has adapted to its conditions.

It should not be a single-party rule, two-party rule or multi-party rule. It should be a simple, party-less system that is governed directly by the people and guided by leftist thought. Even Elon Musk wants direct democracy for near-future Mars settlements.

Assad can become the over-seer of the system but the people can rule themselves directly. Syria is already a progressive, leftist system. There should be no reason for Assad and the country to not adopt direct democracy.
